Zodra u aankomt bij de cruiseterminal van Le Havre, verwelkomt onze chauffeur u met een bordje met uw naam zodat u zorgeloos kunt worden opgehaald. Reis in een comfortabel voertuig en geniet van spannend commentaar. Begin bij Mont-Saint-Michel, verken de geplaveide straatjes en maak foto's van de abdij van buitenaf. Geniet van een lokale lunch en verken in je eigen tempo. Duik vervolgens in de geschiedenis van de Tweede Wereldoorlog op Omaha Beach en betuig eer aan de gevallen soldaten op de Amerikaanse begraafplaats Colleville-sur-Mer. Onze chauffeur wacht voor de deur van de cruiseterminal van Le Havre op u met een bordje met uw naam en neemt contact met u op via het nummer dat u bij de boeking heeft opgegeven. Je vertrekt dan voor een comfortabele reis van 2u15 naar Mont-Saint-Michel, waar je avontuur begint.
Tijdens deze excursie bezoekt u ook Omaha Beach, een iconische historische plek van de landingen uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Nadat u Mont-Saint-Michel heeft verlaten, brengt een reis van ongeveer 1 uur en 40 minuten u naar Omaha Beach. Daar loop je over de stranden waar geallieerde troepen op 6 juni 1944 landden en neem je de aangrijpende geschiedenis van deze plek in je op.
Na een bezoek aan Omaha Beach brengt een korte rit van 15 minuten u naar de Amerikaanse begraafplaats in Colleville-sur-Mer. Je kunt hulde brengen aan de gevallen soldaten en het monument verkennen, een plaats van contemplatie en aangrijpende herinnering.
Tijdens deze excursie ontdekken reizigers Mont-Saint-Michel, de parel van Normandië. Als ze dichterbij komen, zal een spectaculair panoramisch uitzicht hen begroeten. De chauffeur-gids geeft een geschiedenis voordat u aan de tour begint. Reizigers zullen de benedictijnenabdij, een middeleeuws meesterwerk, en zijn crypten, kloosters en gotische kamers verkennen. Daarna slenteren ze door de geplaveide straten van het dorp en bewonderen ze de traditionele huizen en ambachtelijke winkels. Adil was so nice and accommodating, he knew we were combining a visit to a family memorial in addition to Mont Saint Michel. He had never been to Vire but was completely prepared and made our very long day stress free and able to enjoy the day. He even asked if we wanted to stop anywhere else and got us back to our ship in more than enough time. We can't thank him enough for being our driver that day.

Our driver did a great job taking us to the sites we requested and even added one that was not on the list but was so glad he added Pointe du Hoc. The French countryside was beautiful and the small cute villages so quaint. Mont Sant Michele was quite a sight to see, it looks so surreal as you drive up to it

Would have been better if driver could have spoken better English. He was unable to relate to anything on the tour and could only give very basic information such as what time to be back to leave. Totally unqualified to drive an English speaking group.

I traveled with my 25 year old granddaughter. We were the group of 2! The experience was great. Adults was an excellent driver. He was professional, courteous, and accommodating. I am 81 years old. He asked us to be back by 1:30 pm. We couldn't make that goal--I needed to walk slower than most of the tourists. We made it back by 2:15. Thus we ran out of time and did not make it to the American Cemetery near Omaha Beach. It was not Adil's fault. We drove back to Honfleur feeling very satisfied with our day.

Mont Saint Michel is a wonder ! We were so happy we took the day trip. Unfortunately there were no guided tours of the abbey on Saturday, but we still enjoyed the incredible structure . Omaha Beach and Pont du Hoc and American cemetery were most impressive
