De hal werd in 1902–1908 gebouwd in Frans-koloniale stijl door architect Paul Gardès. Sinds 1975 huisvest het gebouw het Volkscomité van Ho Chi Minhstad, de Volksraad van Ho Chi Minhstad en het Volksgerechtshof van Ho Chi Minhstad. Het gebouw is populair vanwege de fotomomenten. Toeristen kunnen buiten foto's maken en veel mensen kiezen ervoor om dit 's nachts te doen, wanneer het gebouw en het terrein verlicht zijn.
Gebouwd in 1909 ter ere van de allerhoogste taoïstische god (de Jade-keizer of koning van de hemel, Ngoc Hoang), is dit een van de meest sfeervolle tempels in Ho Chi Minh-stad, gevuld met beelden van fantasiegodheden en groteske helden. De scherpe rook van wierook (huong) vult de lucht en verhult het prachtige houtsnijwerk. Het dak is bedekt met uitgebreid tegelwerk, en de beelden van de tempel, die personages uit zowel de boeddhistische als de taoïstische overlevering uitbeelden, zijn gemaakt van versterkt papier-maché.
Het War Remnants Museum, ook wel bekend als het Museum of American War Crimes, heeft tot nu toe meer dan 20.000 documenten, tentoonstellingen en films opgeslagen, waarin meer dan 1.500 documenten, artefacten en films regelmatig zijn geïntroduceerd in acht thematische tentoonstellingen. In 35 jaar heeft het Oorlogsmuseum Ho Chi Minh ruim 15 miljoen bezoekers verwelkomd in binnen- en buitenland

Our family of five (three daughters ages 18, 20, and 23) booked an all day city tour of Saigon. We were picked up at the airport by a tour guide and driver, spent the day seeing the city sites, and were dropped off at our hotel at the conclusion. The tour was great! Communication was excellent before, during, and after the tour. Our guide, Sony, messaged us the night before to confirm and was waiting for us when our flight arrived. Sony was personable and very informative. He welcomed any requests (such as my daughters’ coffee shop stop) and did an excellent job introducing us to Saigon and some of the city’s history. The tour included an excellent lunch stop at a local Vietnamese restaurant. The restaurant was able to accommodate some special food requests (gluten free and vegetarian) and everything was delicious. Sony also sent us dinner recommendations and shopping spots to check out. I highly recommend those company and Sony as a guide!
I found this site suggested by the web as one of the most historic and serious in Ho Chi Minh and so it was. Fast registration process, well presented and described tours with many options. Paul my guide was outstanding, young engineering student boy, passionate about his city and history. He took me on a scooter for a 100% local experience! He explained everything very well and was of a kindness and helpfulness rarely now found. I highly recommend them and also great prices really.
We booked a private food tasting tour in Ho Chi Minh City, and it was an excellent experience. Our guide, Kristen, was very helpful and cheerful. He arrived on time, took the effort to understand our tastes and preferences, and tailored the tour accordingly. The food we tried was outstanding, and Kristen also shared interesting insights about the flower market, along with giving us a glimpse into Vietnamese culture and daily life. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable experience, and we would highly recommend this tour.
I had a great sightseeing tour - I was picked up from the entrance of my hotel and dropped off there as well. The guide was knowledgable and asked me which places I have already been to so I do not have to repeat them. The guide went with me to the presidential palace and gave me a private tour which was amazing and I learnt a lot. I had enough time to go to the post office to send postcards home. He even recommended a good local coffee spot with very good price! I highly recommend taking this tour if you want to have a private experience and see the important sights of Hi Chi Minh city.

Rather poor tour guide. English learned off the internet (he says). Also, although a sweet kid, he was not able to engage. Sadly wasted our opportunity to learn about the city. The tour provider ignored our appeal to change him soon after the 4 hour tour began (which ended up being 2 hours as there was little point).
