Het Prado-museum is een van de belangrijkste musea ter wereld, met een verzameling van meer dan 8000 werken van de beste Spaanse en internationale kunstenaars. Het museum werd geopend in het jaar 1819 met het idee om de werken van de Spaanse kroon te laten zien tijdens de verhaal, en presenteer de school van Spaanse schilderkunst in de wereld. Het is het museum met meer kunst per vierkante meter en het meest bezochte, met meer dan 2 miljoen bezoekers per jaar.

Perfect excursion!!! Márcia, our museum guide, demonstrated a lot of knowledge and experience by exploring the most important works.
I came back in school time with the guide telling the history of each art, of the revolutions... not counting the emotion on the religious side. Super, super recommend. Museum with guidance of this knowledge is something else

The company Descubra Madrid organized all the Tours by Madrid and Andalusia in a very professional way. We went to Granada/Malaga/Ronda/Cordoba and Seville and we had advice from this excellent company. I recommend.
I had great expectations for this private tour of the gallery. I was hoping to learn more about famous artists and the masterpieces. The information that we received was insultingly simple. Guide would not be able to hold attention of a child with his narrative. He was not enthusiastic and appeared to convey bare minimum. Shortly into to the tour I felt that my intelligence was insulted. I spend serious amount of money and wasted two hours of my life.
