We beginnen de dag met een bezoek aan de oude Romeinse steengroeve en de legendarische stad Baalbek - een van de meest iconische en historische bestemmingen in Libanon. Bekend om zijn rijke geschiedenis, culturele tradities, zonnige klimaat en opmerkelijke archeologische vindplaatsen, is Baalbek de thuisbasis van een van 's werelds best bewaarde Romeinse tempelcomplexen. Hier verken je de majestueuze tempels van Jupiter, Bacchus en Venus, een grootse triade die de architectonische en religieuze grandeur van het Romeinse Rijk weerspiegelt.

We vertrekken om 8.30 uur uit Beiroet en gaan naar de tour.
Ga verder om de Romeinse steengroeve te bezoeken die bekend staat als de steen van de zwangere vrouw, en vervolgens de tempels van Baalbek, bekend om zijn eeuwenoude geschiedenis, fascinerende tradities, zonnig weer en het grote erfgoed dat het achterliet. Het is ook de thuisbasis van een van de meest nobele en goed bewaard gebleven triaden van Romeinse tempels die ooit zijn gebouwd, gewijd aan en vernoemd naar Jupiter, Bacchus en Venus.
Daarna vertrekken we terug naar Beiroet.

The professionalism & care this company uses for its guests is incredible. Ghofran was my guide for the day. She took me around Baalbak. She was alot of fun to joke around with & learn from. She is very detailed with the information. I am very grateful to Zingy & Ghofran for the day. We had a vey knowledgeable guide who took us all around and showed us every little detail of the temple of Jupiter. The huge stones from an earlier period were amazing!
