We booked this tour with Ali after my friends had a horrible experience with one of the different tours in Tangier the day before. Because I had booked the private tour in Tangier and had a magical day with Abdul. We dropped the other tour company even though we still had to pay, because going with Abdul was worth the cost to get as much out of the day as possible Abdul made the blue city a magical experience, he knows all of the ins and outs and the history of everything to make your day perfect. I can't thank them enough for an amazing time in Morocco and would tell you to book any and everything for Morocco through Ali Tangier Tours, but you MUST request that you get Abdul- he is the magic behind the visit with flawless English, a knowledge of history, and he's got a "guy" everywhere that will know how to make your day perfect. You will fall in love with Morocco and gain a family member if you book with Abdul!

I can’t begin to describe how amazing Abdul was as our guide! My daughter and I originally booked with another guide as we wanted to do a different excursion than our friend on the first day. Our experiences couldn’t have been more different. Her tour with Abdul was amazing and ours was less than we expected- much less. For day 2, we decided to just ask Abdul if we would be willing to do another private tour to the Blue City. We gave up the money we paid to the other guide and it was the best choice we could made. Our entire trip was amazing because of the attention to detail and care Abdul put in to taking us exactly where we wanted to go- including a stop for delicious breakfast and much needed coffee at a local treasure. He picked us up, dropped us off, helped us shop and get “local prices”, took us to the best restaurants for our meals and catered to everything we wanted to do. Do NOT go to Tangier or anywhere near there without calling Ali tours and asking for Abdul! Tell him “two ladies and a Margo” sent you! You will NOT regret it!

We booked this excursion with Ali Tangier Tours and were wery happy about service provided. Our driver drove very safe and we got a very comfortable minivan. On the way we explored countryside and stoped for pictures in the Rif Mountains. When we arrived to Chefchaouen our guide greeted us and served a cup of mint tea. Mohammed is a great guide who showed the most beautifull places and we learned a lot about culture of local people. He also recommend a great restaurant where we had the best food since in Morocco. We got picked up early in the morning and had a very comfortable ride. We could stop on the way and take some nice pictures of mountains and countryside. Chefchaouen is absolutely amazing city mainly covered in blue color. Our guide was funny, knowledgeable and showed us fantastic restaurant where we enjoyed view over the main square and tried delicious food. At our free time we walked around and met nice people. Strongly recommended.

We did another tour with Ali and again it was amazing. Chefchaouen is a must to see if you are coming to Morocco. City is very clean and covered all in blue color, people are very chilled and friendly. It is little pearl hidden in Rif Mountains. We had a great fun and saw plenty of interesting places and things. On the way to the city and back we stopped to explore spectacular nature. Kids loved it. Thank you Ali to make our day unforgettable.

This is a second tour we booked with Ali Tangier Tours and second time it was just perfect. We saw plenty of beautiful panoramic places on the way to Chefchaouen through the Rif Mountains. Upon arrival we had a tasty glass of orange juice and then we started to explore the city. Ali is a great guide who showed the most amazing things and we learned a lot about culture of local people. This was an excellent tour. Abdul, my guide, was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, interesting, and generous, and brought a great dose of fun to our day. He also added a stop in Tetouan, a lovely city with a very lively Medina. I highly recommend this tour.

About a month prior to our trip to Tangier I did research on tour guides and Ali was very responsive and customized the tour we wanted of Tangier and then a drive to Chefchaouen. Our tour included the fast ferry ride from Tarifa to Tangier, pick up at ferry terminal, 4 hour tour of Tangier and then a drive to Chefchaouen. Ali's brother, Abu was waiting for us at the ferry terminal and had a very nice clean car with bottled water. Abu took us to see several sites around the city where we had time to take pictures and he was very informative about the history,customs and new changes coming to the area. We stopped for lunch and had a traditional Moroccan meal that was very good and they were able to accommodate vegans. The drive to the Blue City was about 2.5 hours in the rain and winding roads. We felt very safe because Abu was a good driver and he took us directly to the riad where we were staying. Ferry tickets are cheaper through him and there is no pressure to buy when visiting the shops in the Medina. If you want a custom tour we highly recommend booking with Ali. Ali gave us a tour of the Medina that was so good that we decided to book him again for a tour to Chefchaouen too! The tour was just as amazing as the first and he showed us some incredible spots that we would have missed on our own. We would all 100% recommend Ali for any of his tours.
