Op 20 minuten rijden van Amsterdam vindt u de Zaanstreek, het oudste industriegebied van West-Europa. Vroeger draaiden hier meer dan 500 windmolens. In het historische dorp Zaanse Schans blijven tegenwoordig tien paar zeilen draaien. De pittoreske molens worden nog steeds gebruikt voor het zagen van hout en het malen van bloemen, kruiden en olie. Spannende demonstraties over het hele terrein laten u kennismaken met allerlei oer-Hollandse ambachten. Naast de molens biedt het platteland polders, water, wind, kaas, klompen en vele andere typisch Hollandse dingen. Deze dagtocht naar het Nederlandse platteland en bezoeken aan de vissersdorpen Volendam en Marken is een must tijdens uw vakantie in Nederland. Ontdek de geschiedenis van de regio in een boeiend museum, doe een proeverij bij een kaasmakerij, bezoek een authentieke Nederlandse bakker en nog veel meer en geniet van vrije tijd in de mooie vissershaven aan het Markermeer.

Our family had a great time experiencing the Amsterdam countryside with our driver and guide Ertuğ. He was knowledgable and took the time to understand our family’s interests before suggesting the things that he thought we might enjoy most. We got a chance to go to the cheese and clog factory early before the crowds and also see a cool old windmill that was less touristy. He also had some great suggestions on local restaurants that he thought we would enjoy. I would definitely recommend taking the time to do this tour. It was a great way to get out of the city and see a bit more of the Dutch countryside.

Driver Zia was Awesome! Waited for us on the cruise port even when there was a long delay, Took us out to the Tulip Gardens and The Delft Museum, Took us around the city and drop us in our Hotel. Our whole experience during this whole trip with this company was very positive with both our drivers Mr Zia anad Mr Ertug.

Ertug was an Awesome Driver/Tour guide for us, He showed us everything we would not have seen in a regular Tour. He took us of the beaten path you could say and showed us what we wanted and we learned things great things about Amsterdam! We had a great tour! I would book a tour with him again in a heartbeat!

Zaanse Schans windmills and the countryside tour was a memorable experience for us, a family of 4. We had Salih for our driver, and he was great! He accommodated changes we made in our tour. He was very patient with us, so there’s no feeling of being rushed. He pointed to places of interests, and answered our questions very well. Our family felt very comfortable and at ease with Salih. We enlisted his service again for another tour. This time it was at Bruges, Belgium, and at The Hague. Salih made sure we saw iconic places at The Hague, like the Parliament building, the King’s palace, etc. Overall, Salih went above and beyond what was expected of him. We highly recommend any of the tours their tour company offers, and ask for Salih.

Awesome, fantastic tour! Really can’t find enough words to describe the great experience we had. We were taken to beautiful, less crowded places that was beyond our expectations. We visited picture-perfect little cities and had a fabulous time at a windmill farm. I absolutely, highly recommend the service. The driver was fantastic, pleasant, great conversation and we learned a lot! Don’t skip a private tour, is the best way to have a real feel of a place.

A family of 5 from NJ visited Amsterdam for the first time. A comfortable MB van picked us up at the hotel on time and took us to 3-4 beautiful places which were about 30 - 60 min away from Amsterdam. We enjoyed the scenery, local food, local culture, etc. The driver dropped us off back at the hotel on time. We had a great 4 hour trip outside Amsterdam. Highly recommended!
