Singapore is niet alleen een stad vol gebouwen, maar ook een stad in een tuin. Ga met me mee om het regenwoud en de orchideeëntuin achter de drukke Orchard Road te zien. Weet je dat Singapore bijna 170 dagen per jaar regent? Het eerste deel van de Tour brengt je naar het Rainforest-pad, dit laat je de soorten ecologische biodiversiteit zien die bewaard zijn gebleven, kijkend naar de flora en fauna in ons groen. In het tweede deel van deze tour ga je naar Orchid Garden, een must om te bezoeken als je in Singapore bent, de eerste tropische tuin van UNESCO.

National Orchid Garden bevindt zich in de Singapore Botanic Gardens, het heeft een van de meest exotische orchideeëncollecties die je ooit zult zien. De Singapore Botanic Gardens sinds de oprichting in 1859. Er zijn meer dan 60.000 orchideeën van 1.000 orchideeënsoorten en 2.000 hybriden in de collectie. De tuinen hebben in 2015 de status van eerste UNESCO Werelderfgoed Tropische Tuin gekregen.

Michael met us at the hotel, discussed the overall plan for the tour, and tailored it nicely to our interests. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, and very pleasant company.
Mark was an excellent guide. Kept in touch prior to tour plus was informative, courteous and so interesting to talk too. The National Gardens were a highlight but the Orchids were spectacular.
