De wereldberoemde spa op het westelijke platteland van Tsjechië bood koningen, caesars, componisten (W.A. Mozart) maar ook filmsterren zoals M. Freeman, A. Banderas en M. Gibson. Je kunt ook een van de gasten worden die op de colonnades heeft gelopen en helende mineraalwaterbronnen heeft geproefd. Geniet ook van lokale wafels, kruidenlikeur Becherovka of bezoek de wereldberoemde Moser-glasblazerij op een comfortabele privé-excursie op het platteland ALL-INCLUSIVE met lunch en toegang.

Uw privé Gids en chauffeur halen u op bij uw Praagse plaats en na ongeveer 2 uur van een comfortabele rit kunt u deze meest bekende hoek van de zogenaamde “Spa-driehoek” in het westen van Tsjechië ervaren. Eerste stop (optioneel, gesloten in het weekend) is in beroemde Moser glasblazerij waar je tijdens een rondleiding (in een kleine groep) de glasproductie op je ogen ervaart (president van Tsjecho-Slowakije gaf een Moser glasservies aan de Britse koningin als huwelijksgeschenk).
Na het bezoek aan Moser glasblazerij geniet u van lokale lunch (inbegrepen) en 2u rondleiding door Karlovy Vary. Toch zal er nog wat tijd zijn om souvenirs te winkelen (indien geïnteresseerd) voor de comfortabele transfer terug naar Praag. Vandaag kunnen we genieten en proeven van 15 helende warmwaterbronnen (voornamelijk voor een betere spijsvertering) in 5 colonnades van verschillende bouwstijlen. IT is ook de geboorteplaats van smakelijke Karlsbad wafer (inbegrepen). Dankzij Internationaal Filmfestival Karlovy Vary werd de plaats bezocht door filmsterren (Robert DE Niro, Jude Law, John Travolta, John Malkovich, Danny DeVito, Renée Zellweger, Daniel Craig, Gerard Depardieu, Uma Thurman en vele anderen), in het verleden door koningen (Karel IV., Engelse koning Edward VII.), caesars (Peter de Grote, Franz Joseph I.) en ook componisten en kunstenaars (W. A. Mozart, L. van Beethoven, N. Paganini, J. W. Goethe).
De eerste colonnade op de weg door de SPA promenade bekend van voormalige openbare concerten.
De socialistische brutalisme stijl colonnade met het hoogtepunt van de promenade - Geyser (Vridlo) - 12m hoge warmwaterbron.
De bekendste warmwaterbron heet “Vridlo” (“Geiser”) en is 12 m hoog.
Houten colonnade in kantmotiefstijl met houtsnijwerk van het ontdekkingsverhaal van de plaats.

Michal was a wonderful guide with an easy going personality and knowledgeable and fun facts. The moser glass factory was nice to see, and the town of karlovy vary was quite beautiful. This was a lovely day trip away from Prague. I wish we had weeks to stay and enjoy the spa experiences!

I agree, a few weeks there wouldn’t be too much at all—so much to relax and enjoy! 2 hour drive from Prague to karlovy vary with a stop at the moser glass factory. Short tour but I could have watched the glass making for longer. A walk through the town center of karlovy vary and lunch there was lovely. Not enough time to do anything within any of the spas or go for an hike in the surrounding hills. Our guide Michal was friendly and quite knowledgeable.

I completely understand wanting more time to dive deeper into the spa experience or take in the surrounding nature—there’s certainly a lot to see and do there! The ideal time to spend there is days / weeks but in case of a special interest I'm always ready to adjust the day trip to your desires so you can enjoy some of the local treatments or a hike in the beautiful nature surrounding the city. Karlovy Vary is a quaint, picturesque town that is full of surprises. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the history, seeing the beautiful architecture, and partaking from some of the hot springs. My guide, Michal, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He truly made this a great experience!
