De dag bestaat uit exclusieve bezoeken en proeverijen op privélocaties die de brede en uitgebalanceerde verscheidenheid aan wijnen laten zien die de Priorat-regio tot zo'n wereldberoemd succes maken. Afhankelijk van de dag bestaat de lunch uit een zorgvuldig samengesteld proeverijmenu dat wordt geserveerd in een van de wijnhuizen of in een lokaal, traditioneel restaurant met lokale wijnen. Priorat-wijnreizen bieden een uitstekende gelegenheid om een aantal fantastische wijnen toe te voegen aan uw persoonlijke wijncollectie die anders erg moeilijk en/of duur zouden zijn om van buiten de Priorat of Spanje te verkrijgen.

In de ochtend rijdt u naar het schilderachtige dorpje La Morera DE Montsant, de thuisbasis van het beroemde landgoed Celler Pasanau. Maak kennis met de gepassioneerde wijnmakers die deze familietraditie in stand houden, en verken hun wijngaarden op heuvels met een prachtig uitzicht op het landschap van Priorat. Ga vervolgens naar de kelder om hun nauwgezette wijnbereidingsproces te ontdekken voordat u geniet van een proeverij van hun elegante, volle wijnen.
Clos Figueras is de tweede van de drie uitstekende wijnhuizen die u tijdens deze dagtocht zult bezoeken. Op je weg van Barcelona naar Priorat, terwijl je opvallende terrassen van wijnstokken passeert die in de heuvels zijn uitgehouwen, luister je naar een oriëntatie van het gebied vanuit je gids. Veelzeggend duur, de rijke en volle producten van het gebied zijn onderhevig geweest aan barre groeiomstandigheden en arbeidsintensieve oogsten; de druiven worden meestal met de hand geplukt. Na een bezoek aan een kleine lokale wijnmakerij om je eerste drie Priorat-variëteiten van de dag te proeven, gaan we naar de wijnmakerij Clos Figueres, gerund door Christopher Cannan, een baanbrekende Priorat-wijnmaker. Leer hoe de wijn wordt geproduceerd door druiven van oude wijnstokken, zonder het gebruik van insecticiden of andere producten, en laad op met een traditionele driegangenlunch, gecombineerd met hun wijnen.
Vervolgens gaat u verder naar het charmante dorpje Gratallops en bezoekt u Celler Devinssi, een kleine boetiekwijnmakerij in het hart van Priorat. Bij mooi weer kunt u genieten van een onvergetelijke wijnproeverij midden in de wijngaarden, omgeven door een spectaculair uitzicht op de heuveltop. If you're into wine, this is your tour and worth a splurge. A two-hour drive south of Barcelona lies the Shangri-la of Spanish vineyards - the Priorat. Wow! What a wonderful experience. Priorat is one of those places that most people wouldn't think of when visiting Barcelona, but we are both so glad that we booked this tour. From start to finish, Samuel was friendly, funny, and so knowledgeable about the history of the region. We were able to visit three incredible wineries and try some truly outstanding wines, as well as a really top notch lunch. We were also lucky enough to have a very friendly group with us, which made the experience even more unforgettable. There were 4 of us that booked this tour to Priorat not sure what to expect but the region was amazing- exceeded our expectations. The tour offered everything…beginning with walking some vineyards, tasting in the vineyards and an amazing lunch at a vineyard and of course more tastings. The wine is wonderful. This tour was amazing! My boyfriend and I ended up being the only ones who had booked for that day, so we were able to enjoy the tour privately. Our tour guide, Samu, made the day an unforgettable experience! He was extremely knowledgeable about the region, the wine, and most importantly an overall pleasure to be around for the entire day. I truly don't think we would've been able to enjoy the day nearly as much if it wasn't for Samu since it was just us two on the tour. The wines were fantastic at all 3 locations, the lunch was delicious, and overall this tour was a 10/10. Would 100% book again and recommend to anyone going to Barcelona / Spain. The drive is a bit on the longer side, but totally worth it for the beautiful vistas.

Was initially hesitant about going to Priorat due to the long ~2 hour ride each way, but so glad we went ahead to join this small-group tour. Experience was excellent from the get-go. Alfonsina addressed my queries promptly and assisted with my reservation when I faced issues with booking platform.
