Zie de onverwachte kant van Catalonië tijdens een wandeldagtocht naar de Pyreneeën. Na een pick-up uit Barcelona, reis je naar het charmante dorpje Rupit in de uitlopers van de Pyreneeën. Verken de prachtig bewaarde straten van het dorp en wandel door de omliggende heuvels en geniet van het alpine uitzicht op kliffen, bergen, valleien en watervallen.

Je eerste stop is Rupit, een prachtig bewaard gebleven stenen dorp met wortels die teruggaan tot de 16e eeuw. Met je wandelschoenen aan volg je je gids tijdens een wandeling door de kronkelende, geplaveide straatjes van het dorp en ga je vervolgens omhoog naar de uitlopers van de Pyreneeën. Wandel ongeveer 2,5 uur in een rustig tempo en geniet van dramatische uitzichten op het berglandschap dat u omringt. De route omvat stops op verschillende uitkijkpunten, zodat u op adem kunt komen en naar het landschap kunt lonken. Een majestueuze waterval, die zo'n 120 meter hoog is, is zeker een hoogtepunt van je wandeling; houd je camera klaar om de aanblik van het stromende water vast te leggen, geflankeerd door uitzicht op de klif en de vallei. Eindig je wandeling in een eeuwenoud restaurant, waar een Catalaans 3-gangen feest op je wacht. Duik in borden zoals varkensworst met witte bonen en ontspan vervolgens op je reis terug naar Barcelona. Je tour eindigt met een drop-off bij het startpunt.

Such an amazing experience! The medieval villages were charming, the waterfall beautiful, and the panoramic trails had incredible views at every turn. Mariela made the day so fun and easy with her great energy and local knowledge. The meal at the end was delicious and the perfect way to wrap it all up. Highly recommend!
Our guide Sam was phenomenal. At the end of October, the weather was perfect and there were almost no tourists in the town. Rupit is beautiful and the hike was moderate. Best for people who can hike up and down and on uneven surfaces. The restaurant we ate at after the hike was exceptional.
The beauty and peace waiting just outside of Barcelona is a must to experience. Sam, our guide, was phenomenal . Eating in Rupit is not to be missed.

My husband actually booked this excursion. I read previous reviews and it sounded like a nice way to get out of Barcelona and see the countryside. Antoine is an excellent guide and we had a great time hiking up and down and up and down on rocky paths, stairs, steps, across streams etc. as he pointed out trees, plants, views and whatever else we needed to know about along the way. I will say this is most definitely a HIKE and I would not recommend it unless you are prepared be climbing on uneven terrain with obstacles. My husband and I are 67 years old we did this however were challenged at times. The scenery along the way is beautiful and being on top of a mountain is quite an amazing experience. We had a very nice breakfast before our hike and a very filling lunch afterwards. We thank you, Antoine for a wonderful day with you!
This is the highlight of our Barcelona stay. Having been here before twice, we decided to get out of the hustle and bustle city and what a pleaant surprise for us. Mariela, our guide, is just amazing. She's so knowledgeable with a passion for this trip. The hike was so amazing and we have shifted some serious calories 😅. The views were just out of this world. We finished our tour with the most scrumptious 3 course Catalunya food with good wine and liquor. Thank you Mariela for making this such a memorable day for us xx
One of our favourite tours of our 5 week trip. Craig our guide was awesome, he obviously loves his job and is very knowledgable about the areas. Views were stunning and the lunch at the end in Rupit just topped off a really fun day. Would highly recommend this tour.
Possibly our favorite day during our stay in Barcelona. Visiting Rupit and the hike around the countryside was so enjoyable. Plus the lunch was delicious!
We had a fantastic day - real highlight of our 4 days Barcelona to get out to country side.. our tour guide Antoine was brilliant, a lovely French guy who was extremely knowledgeable on allot of European history, not just Spain.. we had a lovely day with him, and taking us to eat very traditional food up in the mountains that we had not tasted or experienced in the city… we were fortunate to be the only people on the tour that day, so extra lucky… totally recommend…
