We ontmoeten elkaar in het centrum voor je gemak, maar maak je geen zorgen, we blijven hier niet lang! Je gids wacht op je voor de hoofdingang van het gemeentehuis, een art-nouveaugebouw met het beroemde Smetana-concertgebouw en een aantal prachtige restaurants en wijnbars.
Onze eerste stop, een gloednieuw restaurant met een moderne kijk op de Tsjechische keuken.
Dit plein is ook een park en het is de perfecte plek voor de lokale bevolking om in de zomer rond te hangen. We bekijken het geweldige uitzicht en gaan dan eten - daarom zijn we hier in de eerste plaats!
Je dacht dat Les Invalides, of Invalidovna zoals we het in het Tsjechisch noemen, gewoon in Parijs was, toch? Laat ons u dit architectonisch juweeltje laten zien en hoe het idee van een zekere heer hier tot leven kwam. Oh en hebben we al gezegd dat we er in de buurt naartoe gaan? Maar je verwachtte al zoveel, nietwaar?
Karlin Baracks zijn een echte hidden gem in deze wijk, dat is helemaal geen cliché in deze. We kunnen het gewoon niet vermijden om hier te stoppen en deze prachtige binnenplaats te laten zien met een geweldig café / pub (ze serveren hier zowel heerlijke koffie als geweldig bier) midden in het centrum. Laten we het proberen, zullen we?

- Onze tours gaan door, ongeacht regen of zonneschijn. Zorg ervoor dat u de weersvoorspelling controleert en kom voorbereid met een paraplu.

What an absolutely spectacular time we had with Will! One of our biggest highlights from Prague :) Will had done his research on us beforehand and had thoughtfully curated a list of restaurants and hidden gems keeping our preferences and likes in mind, which we further customized after meeting us. He effortlessly led the tour, moving from one spot to another while keeping it informational yet super fun! The Vin Chaud and sausages at the locals Christmas Market, local crafter beer and the ice cream with Prague-specific flavors were our favorites. Also, Will was so easy to connect with and made us feel like a friend from the get-go. Six years ago my wife and I did the Old Town Food Tour with Prague City Adventures. Johanka was our guide and we had a fantastic time with great food. When we booked a return trip to Prague, one of the first things we did was reach out to Johanka and Prague City Adventures. We knew we wanted to do another food tour with Johanka. She offered us a new one, this time in the Karlin area of Prague. She took us to several restaurants, each with different but excellent food. We had a variety of foods, from traditional Czech, to newer foods like Ukrainian and Vietnamese. One thing I really enjoy about Johanka’s tours is that her tours also include a lot of history as well as the food. Johanka also answered many questions and offered advice things to do and places to visit.

Our guide Nicola and the food tour were fantastic! We learned a lot about Czech history and culture and experienced local dishes with a modern twist. The food was delicious! Nicola took us to four very different and fun settings -- places we never would have visited on our own. This tour and our guide were the highlight of our trip!

My family of 4 enjoyed the private food tour in Prague with Mr. John. He did an excellent job showing us around Old Town Square and bringing us to different restaurants that were authentic to the culture. The tour felt like we were with a friend rather than a tour guide.

We booked a walking food tour for the day we arrived. Great decision. We got dinner and a good idea of some of the areas. Michaela personally guided our tour. She was engaging and personal. Her selections on where to go were spot on. We subsequently asked for additional help securing a car and driver to get us to Prague and she was happy to help. We would do this tour again without hesitation.

My mom and I took this tour with Misa (Michaela) in early August. We had a BLAST! The first stop was for chlebicky, these incredible open faced sandwiches with counter service. Highly recommend the brie and salami, my mom was a fan of the potato salad. Misa kept us walking in the shade on a hot summer day, which I really appreciated. She is so thoughtful and friendly! We spent all of the time talking about food, the history of food, and how that history intersected with the history of Prague. We went to an amazing venue with beef stew and yogurt based coleslaw which lives in my dreams since then. We also had local Czech beer here as the brewery was right outside. :) The ice cream was life changingly creamy, recommend the pistachio or sweet cream. We were getting full at this point but then we got to go to a czech restaurant and eat a trio of delicious things: fermented cheese (don't sleep on this), goulash, and another carrot-based stew with dumplings that I forgot the name of. It had cranberry jelly and whipped cream and sirloin steak; so good, trust me! We had some local wine at this point. We ended with coffee at a local student-led cafe. Overall, we had a blast on this tour and would highly recommend it!
