Ophalen in de lobby van de vermelde hotels of bij de haventerminal Istanbul Galata met uw naambord. Ontmoetingstijd zal worden gegeven tijdens de bevestiging. Rij naar de oude stad. Onze eerste stop is het Hippodrome Plein waar vroeger wagenrennen en de Byzantijnse rellen tijdens de Romeinse & Byzantijnse periode plaatsvonden.
Onze tweede stop is de Blauwe Moskee, die beroemd is vanwege de prachtige blauwe Iznik-tegels.
Op slechts een korte loopafstand bereikt u de Hagia Sophia, gebouwd in 532 na Christus door de Romeinse keizer Justinianus I. en de Blauwe Moskee, die bekend staat om zijn prachtige blauwe Iznik-tegels. Update interieurbezoek St. Sophia: Live begeleiding is na 15 januari 2024 niet meer toegestaan in St. Sophia. Gasten moeten tijdens hun bezoek hun smartphone en koptelefoon bij zich hebben. Als gasten geen koptelefoon hebben, kunnen ze deze bij de ingang kopen voor 3,5 USD Het systeem is vergelijkbaar met het audiogidssysteem. We zullen doorlopen naar het Topkapi-paleis, dat niet alleen de residentie was van de Ottomaanse sultans, maar ook het administratieve en educatieve centrum van de staat. Op vrijdag: Blauwe Moskee is geopend van 15.00 tot 17.30 uur

Tayfun was very knowledgeable and informative of all that we visited, Blue Mosque, Agia Sofia, and Grand Bazaar. What we weren't interested in seeing, he didn't push and let us go about our tour on our own rythme. Would recommend This tour and our guide.

A great tour highlighting many of the beautiful sights of Istanbul. Our tour guide Emel was fabulous! On this walking tour she provided us with a lot of the history and cultural significance to the area. Layla was a good tour guide, knowledgeable. She arrived at the hotel on time and we were taken to all the tourist spots on our list. Our only disappointment was that we did not get to spend more time at the grand bazar…..Leila should have organized our time better. We spent way too much time over lunch which minimized our time at the bazar.

If I could give 6 star I would give that. Evren was fenomenal both in competence as well in creativity to avoid duplications with places we saw in the previous couple of days and adjusting our schedule and itinerary accordingly. Granted we were lucky to be the only customers in this group I want to underline the professionalism to still carry on what expected even if with a group of just 2 customers but I would still highly recommend this tour as one of the most value for the money (includes tickets for museums and palaces or transportation). Top notch.
