We stellen voor om een dag op maat te creëren, om de magie van de kastelen en wijngaard van de Médoc te gaan ontdekken. Wij passen ons aan uw wensen aan om u een unieke ervaring te bieden. Onderweg volgt u de beroemde “Route des Châteaux”, terwijl uw expert in wijngids de regio uitlegt: de wijnen, het terroir en de geschiedenis. Geniet van het landschap terwijl uw chauffeur al uw vragen over de lokale wijnscene beantwoordt. De schilderachtige rit voert u door de grootste Grands Crus, met de mooiste fotostops. U bezoekt en proeft in drie speciaal op uw wensen en verwachtingen geselecteerde kastelen (wijnhuizen). Van de oudste en meest moderne en luxueuze kastelen in familiebezit, u heeft de keuze en wij zorgen voor de organisatie. Reisroute
Je wordt opgehaald bij je hotel of de gewenste plaats in Bordeaux en rijdt naar de Médoc-regio. Panoramische rit tussen de topgroei en fotostops. Uw gids zal de regio uitleggen: wijnen, terroir, appelatie, geschiedenis, classificaties...
Château 1: afhankelijk van uw keuzes kunnen we bijvoorbeeld beginnen met een familiebedrijf in de regio Pauillac met een gezellig bezoek aan het landgoed, gevolgd door een proeverij van hun verschillende wijnen.
Lunch: we kunnen verschillende opties voorstellen, van een selectie gastronomische restaurants tot lokale verborgen pareltjes, een gezellige lunch in een kasteel of intieme gastronomische restaurants.
Château 2: we kunnen stoppen bij een Grand Cru Classé in Saint-Estèphe waar u bijvoorbeeld kunt genieten van een rondleiding en een wijnproeverij van oude jaargangen.
Chateau 3: voor een laatste stop voordat u terugkeert naar Bordeaux, kunt u een Grand Cru Classé bezoeken in Margaux. U zult onder de indruk zijn van de kelder, de architectuur, de verouderde knowhow. De perfecte manier om de voortreffelijke, heerlijke Bordeaux-wijnen beter te begrijpen. En natuurlijk proef je verschillende cuvées en jaargangen, met misschien de ervaring van direct proeven aan het vat of de amfora.
Wij stellen u een stop voor het beroemde en illustere Château Margaux voor. De perfecte gelegenheid om wat souvenirfoto’s te maken.
Terug naar Bordeaux: afleveren bij uw hotel of in het stadscentrum.

It was a wonderful day in the Medoc region. Our driver Xavier was very knowledgeable about the wines and chateaus. We visited three chateaus and had a fabulous lunch experience at a local restaurant. We even had time to stop at a chocolate factory for a tasting and purchased some treats.

This was a magical day exploring Medoc Chateaux. We were able to choose from a range of Chateaux to visit and a perfect itinerary was put together, including a lovely restaurant for lunch. Our guide, Xavier, was wonderful and so generous in the information he shared and in the extra stops he made along the way to show us something special. We loved the whole experience.

Fantastic day out with Jeremy from Ocala. We chose to do the Gold Option Tour, which visited only classified chateaux, and we arranged to have lunch at our first stop. All three of the wineries we visited were excellent, and there was enough variety that each one felt like a unique experience. We did several other wine tours with other companies, but Olala was far and away the best of the lot. Next time, we'll use them for everything!

Everything from the description, to the booking process, having questions answered, and customizable options made the booking process great. I asked for a knowledgeable wine tour guide (as I've been on tours where I seemed to be teaching them), and was blown away by the expertise and depth of knowledge of our guide, René. Transportation was provided in a comfortable Mercedes van. The chateaux we visited offered a great cross-section of Medoc wines of various styles and quality. Our lunch stop was a PERFECT break at a beautiful hotel (Maison L'Estournal). I cannot say enough good things about René. I recommend asking for him by name.

What a bloody good day! Vincent knew a great deal about Bordeux and was really knowledgeable about the wines and took us to some exceptional spots and some really impressive wineries. Highly recommend doing this tour and Vincent.
