De Vallei der Koninginnen, gelegen nabij Luxor, Egypte, is een begraafplaats voor de vrouwen en kinderen van farao's. Het beschikt over prachtig versierde graven, met ingewikkelde hiërogliefen en prachtige kunstwerken uit het oude Egypte.
De Vallei der Koningen is een historische site gelegen aan de westelijke oever van de Nijl nabij Luxor, Egypte. IT diende als koninklijke begraafplaats voor farao's en machtige edelen van het Nieuwe Koninkrijk Egypte (1550 - 1069 v.Chr.). De vallei bevat meer dan 60 tombes, waaronder die van beroemde farao's als Toetanchamon, Ramses II, Toethmosis III en Seti I.
Deir el-Medina, of de Vallei der Ambachten, was een oud Egyptisch dorp. Het huisvestte de ambachtslieden die de koninklijke graven in de Vallei der Koningen en Koninginnen bouwden vanaf ca. 1550-1080 V.CHR. Het is een belangrijke archeologische site, die een unieke blik biedt in het dagelijks leven van oude arbeiders.
Kolossen van Memnon symboliseren de heerschappij van de koning over Egypte. De drie figuren in de beelden, Amenhotep III, zijn vrouw Tiye en zijn moeder Mutemwiya zijn allemaal symbolen van wedergeboorte. Ze hebben alle natuurrampen doorstaan waarmee ze te maken hadden.
Tempel van Medinat Habu T Medinet Habu, de tempel werd gebouwd om koning Ramses III na zijn dood te herdenken, in opdracht van de koning zelf.

After 10 days in Egypt, this was by far the best tour we took because our guide Ibrahim was so wonderful. He speaks perfect English and is incredibly knowledgeable. Our driver was also excellent and we had a newer car with good ac as well. Highly recommended!!
The tour was great. There was a suggested itinerary but we could plan the day exactly as we wanted and spend as much or as little time as we wanted at each stop. Mostafa was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable throughout our trip, which allowed us to fully enjoy the tour.
We had a great experience with Tag Tour. They handled all the entrance fees and I had a tour starting at 7am and finishing at 4pm. Our guide Sayed was very experienced and knowledgeable, he answered all our questions not only about the places we visited but also about Cairo and Egypt overall. We had the pleasure to travel again with Mostafa who also picked us up from the airport the a couple of days before. We felt cared and supported by the Tag Tour operator as they were very flexible and ready to accommodate us. I highly recommend this tour and would definitely use their service again in the future. At the end of our tour since we booked through them the airport drop off, we were taken straight to the airport without the need to change cars.
We chose the tour to leave the hotel at 5:30 in the morning. I had communicated with Mustafa from the tag tour beforehand, so nothing unexpected happened. We started in the Valley of the Kings and took the route to see habu temple for the last time. At the end, he was overwhelmed by the awesomeness of the habu temple, so he thought of a very good order. With group tours, the length of stay in each region is fixed, but because it is a private tour, it was good to be able to adjust the places I liked for longer and the normal places shorter. The driver picked me up with zero waiting time after sightseeing, and the guide was very knowledgeable and explained to me in the moving car, which in general was a very good sightseeing experience.
We had a very nice private tour with Alaa. He dropped us off in a chic clean SUV at the various stations and told us a lot about the Nile Valley and the sights in German and English. Very attentive there were oranges and water and we were ushered past the bazaars in front of the entrance.
Many Egyptian guides and drivers said they hoped they could speak English, but Alaa said he was fluent and could also speak German and Italian. He was kind enough to show us the ticket booth and directions so we wouldn't have any trouble and the meeting went smoothly. I really appreciate it.

On the morning of the tour, they shared their real-time location through WhatsApp and arrived right on time. They carefully listened to our requests, helped decide the route, and gave us helpful sightseeing recommendations based on our interests. Unlike many tours in Egypt, there was no pressure to visit overpriced souvenir shops or tourist-oriented restaurants. Instead, they even warned us to be cautious of people who try to approach tourists with such offers. Overall, it was a smooth, safe, and very comfortable experience, and I would highly recommend this company.

Our guide, Ibrahim, was wonderful. He shared a lot of knowledge about each site we went to and we enjoyed our whole day very much. Everything went smoothly and Ibrahim gave us plenty of time at each site, we never felt rushed. We were able to take our time and enjoy ourselves. The company also communicated well about our trip and were responsive if we had any questions.
