De Shrine is een van de meest indrukwekkende heiligdommen in Japan met 10.000 rode torii poorten van de bodem naar de top van de berg Inari als het centrum van 30.000 Inari Heiligdommen in Japan. Je kunt een nieuwe rode torii poort doneren als je dromen uitkomen!
Een van de mooiste tempelgebouwen in Japan is het Gouden Paviljoen met de container met Boeddha’s as en botten erin in het complex van de Tempel. Mis het alsjeblieft niet!
Het oorspronkelijke militaire complex werd 400 jaar geleden omgebouwd tot de harmoniserende plaats tussen de militaire regering in Tokio (Edo) en het keizerlijk paleis in Kyoto, na te zijn aangepast met de decoraties voor de goede tijden in de toekomst. Geniet van de schoonheden door samoerai!
De Japanse tuin met een vijver aan de achterkant van de tempel is al 600 jaar een van de mooiste tuinen in Kyoto, waar de boeddhistische monniken van de Zen-sekte zichzelf hadden getraind door meditaties. Laten we meditaties proberen!
Commoners in de oostkant van Kyoto hebben de Tempel 1200 jaar lang gesteund, nadat ze tot Kannon Boddhisattva hadden gebeden voor hun overleden geliefden. De benaderingen van de Tempel zijn erg populair als gevolg van vele winkels & snacks en fotogenieke plekken ook. Voel je alsjeblieft echt Kyoto vanaf het podium van de Tempel!
De Tempel is precies zo ontworpen dat het sinds 600 jaar geleden de perfecte plek is geworden om de maan te bekijken op 15 augustus (oude kalender), terwijl het 's nachts niet is toegestaan om de Tempel te betreden. Stelt u zich eens voor wat er zal gebeuren bij het bekijken van de maan!
De Tempel is een van de beroemdste bezienswaardigheden geweest vanwege de zeer mysterieuze 15 rotsen op zijn landschapstuin oorspronkelijk gebouwd in 15C. Probeer alsjeblieft dialogen te voeren met jullie geest!
U zult verbaasd zijn over zoveel beelden van Kannon Boddhisattva en hun voogden die afkomstig zijn van oude Indiase goden. En ook waren er al eerder Japanse boogschietwedstrijden gehouden aan de achterkant van de Tempel. Stel je voor dat er zoveel pijlen zijn geschoten op de achterkant van zoveel boeddhistische beelden!
Het is verplicht om uw bezoek van tevoren te boeken, maar de Japanse tuin in een van de beste tuinen in Japan. Alles is perfect ontworpen om bezoekers te verrassen door zoveel manieren van schoonheden in de kunstmatige tuin. Raak het meesterwerk van de Japanse tuin!
De tempel was 700 jaar geleden de eerste zensekte van het boeddhisme in Kyoto. De Tempel heeft de goede mix van de ouderwetse gebouwen en de moderne Japanse tuinen. De meester van de eerste Tempel moedigde Zenmonniken aan om groene thee te drinken toen hij terugkeerde uit China. Stelt u zich alstublieft lange geschiedenissen van groene thee in de Tempel voor!
De Tempel werd oorspronkelijk gecreëerd om 900 jaar geleden het Boeddhisme Pure Land voor de overledenen te belichamen. Het belangrijkste Boeddhabeeld van de Tempel was in het verleden vele malen gered van een heleboel branden. Je kunt je de denkbeeldige wereld in het boeddhisme voorstellen.
De Tempel werd 1100 jaar geleden gesticht door de keizers maar brandde zo vaak af door branden die natuurlijk/door oorlogen werden veroorzaakt. En toen werden veel gebouwen verplaatst van andere plaatsen, waaronder het voormalige keizerlijke paleis in Kyoto en de Japanse tuin werd in 20C opnieuw gecreëerd in een poging om er zoveel mogelijk op originele manieren te zijn. Probeer je alsjeblieft voor te stellen dat je 1100 jaar geleden in de wereld was!
Arashiyama (berg Arashi) gebied met inbegrip van Togetsu-kyo brug op de rivier Katsura en Bamboe paden: U kunt genieten van foto's op de brug en in de Trails die zijn twee van de meest populaire fotogenieke plekken in Kyoto.
Gion (entertainment) gebied met inbegrip van Tatsumi Daimyo-jin Shrine en Tatsumi-bashi brug op de rivier Shirakawa: U kunt genieten van foto's in de voorkant van het Heiligdom en op de brug die zijn twee van de meest populaire fotogenieke plekken in Kyoto.

Motoi Okishio san is a very knowledgable, fit tour guide with very good English. He gave us a comprehensive program tailored perfectly to our requirements. The included lunch was again to suit us, traditional Japanese in a restaurant hidden away, it was sensational. We rate him and the experience very highly.

This was one of the most wonderful tours we have ever experienced with one of the most wonderful tour guides, she was very knowledgeable and systematically took us to the golden temple and the bamboo forest, made multiple attempts at showing us great picture spots, and did a wonderful job Explaining Japanese culture in history.

The Omakase team came through again but this time in Kyoto. We booked a full day private guide and Yumiko-san did not disappoint. Wow - we had a list to get through from buying Kimono's to finding a Japanese Giants MLB hat (which we had forgotten to get when in Tokyo). Yumiko-san spent all her time rushing from shop to shop to make sure we got exactly what we needed. Our Tea Ceremony was everything we hoped for - not only was matcha tea ceremonially made for us but we were given the opportunity of doing it all ourselves - a real treat. On top of the ceremony, we were also given a guided tour of a traditional Japanese house - narrow but with everything you need including a little garden in the middle to let in light. Our ask - we want to see the monkeys! They were delivered with us exploring Arashiyama (well worth it but expect a very energetic climb up the mountain - the view is an aha moment). Arashiyama has so much to explore - give Otagi Nenbutu-ji Temple and Tenryu-ji Temple a visit and don't miss the bamboo forests. We bought ourselves a little time so Yumiko-san got on the phone and found us a rickshaw ride that took us right through the bamboo forest - AMAZING. Unfortunately, 1 days is not enough to explore everything - Kyoto and Omakase/Yumiko-san will definitely see us again. Thank you for taking such great care of us and ensuring we have amazing memories to last us a lifetime. Your ideas and WhatsApp chats kept us on point and I could not encourage others more to reach out. You will not be disappointed.

We did a total of five tours with OMAKASE tours, 3 full day tours to Kyoto and Himeji, and 2 half day tours to Osaka. It was a pleasure to have Oki-san and Miho-san as tour guides, they tailored the days exactly to our needs. And in addition to all the temples, shrines, and castles, Oki-san showed us the right places to eat. We enjoyed every minute, and we are already looking forward to our next trip, definitely again with Oki-san and Miho-san.

We had a fantastic time with OKI-san on our half-day tour! We visited Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine and Kiyumizu-sera Temple. Our guide greatly added to our experience with lots of information, taking pictures and facilitating the travel between sites. And our recommended lunch spot (tempura) was delicious (note lunch not included for halfday tour). Overall 5 stars! I highly recommend this tour and our guide Motoi Okishio.
