Onze tour brengt u naar drie fascinerende bestemmingen. Eerst bezoeken we Phnom Kulen (Kulen Mountain), een geïsoleerde bergketen binnen de grotere Dangrek Mountain Range. Dit bereik strekt zich uit over ongeveer 40km en ligt op ongeveer 50km van Siem Reap. De hoogste top bereikt 487m, met een gemiddelde hoogte over het hele bereik van meer dan 400m. Hier heb je de mogelijkheid om een traditionele monnikszegen te ontvangen. In de middag reizen we naar de Banteay Srei tempel, gelegen op ongeveer 37 km van Siem Reap. Onderweg stoppen we bij een lokale gemeenschap, waar je het dagelijks leven van de dorpelingen uit de eerste hand kunt ervaren. Afhankelijk van het seizoen kunt u ook palmwijn, palmsuiker en andere lokale producten proeven. Tot slot verkennen we Kampong Phluk, een uniek drijvend dorp aan het Tonle Sap Lake, het grootste meer in Zuidoost-Azië. Daarna brengen we u terug naar uw hotel.

Een bezoek aan de Banteay Srei-tempel dat het grootste deel van de populaire tempel met roze zandsteentempel met de beste gravure, zelfs de tempel van Angkor Wat, niet te vergelijken is met de bouw uit de 10e eeuw. Het kost tijd om daar 50 minuten tot 1 uur te rijden.
Waterval bezoeken, duizend linga's, Big Buddha Status, lokale bevolking en je kunt er zwemmen. Kulen Mountain is gevormd uit zandsteen en werd tijdens de Angkoriaanse periode in een steengroeve gebruikt. De belangrijkste steengroeven die op dat moment werden gebruikt, lagen in het zuidoosten van de bergen. In dit gebied van het Phnom Kulen Nationaal Park kunt u de natuurlijke watervallen zien.
Trek eropuit in het Cambodjaanse hart om de rivier van de duizend linga's te vinden. Hier verandert de rivierbedding in een onderwatergalerij, uitgehouwen met honderden linga's en yonis. Afhankelijk van de waterstand komen deze oude symbolen tevoorschijn en dompelen onder, waardoor een dynamisch, levend kunstwerk ontstaat. Stel je het koele water voor dat over de zandsteen stroomt, elk een bewijs van eeuwenlange Khmer-devotie. Zonlicht filtert door het bladerdak, verlicht de ingewikkelde details en werpt dansende schaduwen op de rivierbodem. De lucht zoemt met de rustige energie van deze heilige plaats.
Beklim de berg Kulen, waar de lucht dik is met de geur van wierook en het gefluister van oude gebeden. Hier ligt de Reusachtige Liggende Boeddha, een stille wachter met uitzicht op het landschap. Verken de verweerde stenen van vergeten tempels, elk geëtst met verhalen van koningen en goden. Voel de koele mist op je huid terwijl je door de jungle dwaalt, en luister naar het gezang van de monniken dat door de bomen echoot. Laat je meevoeren door de warme glimlach van de lokale dorpelingen en ontdek het levende hart van Cambodjaanse spiritualiteit.
Geef je over aan de etherische schoonheid van de watervallen. Het ruisende water orkestreert een natuurlijke symfonie, die het podium vormt voor een echt onvergetelijke ervaring. Neem ongeveer 45 minuten een verfrissende, zuiverende duik in dit heilige water. Als de mist opstijgt, zoek dan naar glinsterende regenbogen, waardoor de droom van een fotograaf ontstaat van ansichtkaartperfecte beelden.
Kampong Phluk is een drijvend dorp aan het Tonle Sap-meer in Cambodja, vlakbij Angkor Wat. De paalwoningen stijgen en dalen met het waterpeil, waardoor de indruk ontstaat dat ze drijven. Het dorp is de thuisbasis van Khmer-vissers die afhankelijk zijn van het meer. Je kunt pittoreske mangrovebossen per boot verkennen en een unieke manier van leven ervaren, weg van de steden.

This was my second tour with Thom, having been an excellent guide for Angkor Wat. And it was again the right decision; Thom knew exactly how to structure the day based on what I wanted to see and do. His attention to detail is brilliant, and offered stops along the way in case I wanted to grab a photo opportunity or try and unique fruit to the that region. Thom is a very safe driver, and is ways thoughtful. This is all in addition to his main job as an excellent tour guide full of knowledge, insight and facts you wouldn't find in a book or audio guide. The sights are amazing too - more old Temples, a stunning waterfall and a beautiful walk along the river spotting ancient Hindu statues carved into the rockbed. A must see! He's even a brilliant photographer of you want to pose for a few touristy snaps!

Excellent tour, great guide. Thom was great with my daughter and I. Plenty of knowledge and catered to our every need. Our driver Ha (I think you’d spell it that way) kept us safe with the many long drives between the beautiful spots. Highly recommend Banteay Srei. Much easier walk and more beautiful carvings than Angor Wat. The falls are beautiful and the Floating fishing village is a must see to gain some perspective on how life in Cambodia is really like.

We loved our day with Thom, We did bantay srei, phnom kulen and the floating village it was amazing. If you have three days in Siem reap that’s what you can do in your third day. Thom was our guide during this tour and it was an excellent experience. Having done the Angkor temples the day before we were a bit tired but Thom kept us engaged. He had a lot of knowledge of the area and was very helpful during each part of the visit. Highly recommend him.

Had an amazing tour with Hun. He ensured I was comfortable at all times and he took the time to immerse me into the culture and they ways of the locals. He assisted taking pictures from the nicest locations at the places we visited. I happened to be the only one in the tour so we spent 3 extra hours together and he took me to a gem where the locals go to see a panoramic view of the Phnom Kulen National Park. Water and cold towel were provided several times during the tour. The driver was also very nice and took the time to stop and places were I wanted to take pictures from the car; he took us to all places in a safe manner. The lunch (not included in the tour cost) was amazing. Keep up the good job Cambodia Golden Tours and Hun!! Highly recommended experience!
