Privé kookcursus in traditionele Andalusische huisvesting

Beschrijving

Of all the tour experiences we have ever done as a family, this one will stand out. Being picked up and led by David was like having a friend show you around which made it so different from more traditional tours. And then being welcomed into the home of Lucia and Antonio was like being welcomed as family. We enjoyed amazing homecooked food of wonderfully fresh ingredients and my children were treated as they would be by grandparents. Lucia is the abuela everyone needs - radiating love and welcome. It was also so nice to observe the loving relationship between Lucia/Antonio and David and to have a view into the history of a family who has shared this home for 200 years. Just incredible. One of my favorite things was witnessing how friendship and welcome can transcend language - David was an extremely able translator but so many things didn't need to be translated. This experience will be a treasured family memory. Thank you to David, Lucia and Antonio - you made a big impact on us!
Hi Jamie, this is Lucia, I'm overwhelmed by such lovely words. My parents Antonio and Lucia enjoyed it very much too. I send you all lots of kisses and a big hug. It was certainly a very special, authentic and local activity, where you discover that Andalusian gastronomy goes beyond certain stereotypes. I hope that one day we can see each other again. Best wishes LUCIA
We had the greatest day with Antonio, Lucia, and David. We felt so welcomed into their home and had a wonderful time experiencing a day in the life with them. The food was delicious and we had so much fun making it.
Hi Rachel, Thank you very much for such incredible words. Antonio and Lucia send you a big hug. Thank you very much for trusting us. As you know, our company is distinguished by showing the authentic and avoiding the stereotypes of Spain. I hope to see you again one day best !
This cooking experience exceeded our expectations. Hosted by David, our driver and Lucia and Antonio who welcomed us into their home and cooked us a typical Andalusian meal. This was a wonderful experience and we would highly recommend. We were made to feel very welcome in their home.
Hola ! David and the family (Antonio and Lucia) also enjoyed a lot. We try to show the authenticity of each place and better than a home in a fun, playful and off the beaten path. Best !!
This is a unique and special opportunity to see behind the doors of a local family's home. They were wonderful, funny, generous. Everyone participated in the cooking- and the eating and drinking! It was done and prepared with love and care.
Beautiful words that I don't really know what to answer. Just say THANK YOU. Tourism must be real, authentic, avoiding stereotypes and showing what it really is. There are many topics about gastronomy. Spain is not only paella and sangria. I am very glad that you enjoyed it. Antonio and Lucia send you a big hug Miguel
David, our guide, picked us up promptly at 11 and the day began. We went to the market in Triana and also did a small walking tour. We shopped with him for the lunch groceries and he was able to give us a lot of history of the area. We had been there the day before by ourselves and this was so much better. Then we went to a wonderful couple's home and were welcomed warmly. Even with the language barrier, we enjoyed visiting and cooking. We even got to visit the bakery across the street and had a behind the scenes tour. We would highly recommend!
David picked us up at 11:00 and the day began. Shopping in Triana at the market for our lunch and a short walking tour. We had visited ourselves the day before and didn’t really understand the history of the area. Then we went to the home of a great couple and we were welcomed in as part of the family. Even with a language barrier we were able to understand and David translated as needed. We cooked with the couple and even went across the street to see the local bakery. Gazpacho and pork cheeks and frites with wine and beer. Definitely an experience we won’t forget.
This was one of my favorite activities on our trip to Spain. Our cooking class started with a trip to the fresh market. After gathering the items needed, we continued on to the lovely couples home where the cooking class took place. We truly loved the experience of making gazpacho, and stew with fresh bread. Which came from the bakery across the street.
