Rondleiding van 2 uur in het museum en de kathedraal van Santiago de Compostela. Je zult de belangrijkste kunstwerken in het museum kunnen zien en begrijpen, evenals de geschiedenis en evolutie van een van de belangrijkste heiligdommen van de katholieke religie ter wereld.

We ontmoeten elkaar op ons terrein en lopen dan naar Praza do Obradoiro en het bezoek aan het museum begint. De verschillende kamers van het complex vertellen ons het verhaal van en over hoe de hele kathedraal werd gebouwd, vanaf het begin in de 9e eeuw tot nu. Je bezoekt de verschillende zalen van het museum met alle kunstwerken die in elke zaal te zien zijn en we zullen je er een gedetailleerde uitleg over geven. We zullen uitkijken op de balkons van de kathedraal naar het Obradoiro-plein, het binnenklooster van de kathedraal en, last but not least, we zullen de kathedraal binnengaan, die zelf een kunstwerk is. Er zullen geen toegangswachtrijen worden gemaakt om de kathedraal binnen te gaan.

Great tour guide, she was very knowledgeable Beautiful cathedral and museum She explain every details of the history of Santiago and the Cathedral.
Loved this tour - Lucia showed us all the important parts of the Cathedral - in and around!!! Lucia knew all about everything!!! We all enjoyed this tour and would recommend it to others - Lucia was a delight to be with - we all learned so much about St James!!!!
We had a particular bad experience. Tour guide showed up 30 minutes late but did not reach out or tell us at all!! We sent a message via the Viator app when no one appeared 5-8 mins after the appointed time. We then were rushed through the museum (which is amazing and everyone should do), and finished the tour in an hour. Our guide was fine but in my opinion the whole thing was doomed from the start. Perhaps this was a one off
Indeed what you mentioned happened but you do not mention the parcial refund we reimbursed and that we invited you to the mueum's access tickets trying to someway amend. You also left earlier, tour was going to be performed in full but it was time for your prayers at 5 p.m. Original tour guide was on a train with much delay. As soon as we knew we sent another guide with the intention of staying longer than the 2 hours purchased.
I recommend a trip to Santiago de Compostela to anyone visiting Galicia, perhaps avoiding the busiest periods to enjoy every corner freely.
Very knowledgeable and professional guide. We only had a half day in Santiago and doing the private tour helped us skip the long lines and ensured that we got to experience the most important sights.

Lovely tour and guide. Exactly as described….private for just your group and very good coverage of the museum and cathedral. Highly recommended. My husband walks slowly with a cane and the guide was very good adapting to his needs.
