Uw privéreis voor maximaal 8 personen is aanpasbaar en onze vriendelijke Naturalist-bemanning heeft een ongeëvenaarde kennis van de mariene soorten, baaien en riffen in Huatulco. We kennen de gezondste riffen om te snorkelen, de beste gebieden voor de kust om de mariene soorten te vinden en de rustigste stranden om te ontspannen. We kunnen u kilometers de zee op brengen, een groter gebied verkennen voor de beste ontmoetingen met de meeste dolfijnen, schildpadden, manta's en zelfs walvissen (walvissen zijn te zien van december tot maart). Onze bemanning bestaat uit mariene biologen, milieuwetenschappers, DiveMasters, kapiteins en fotografen. Samen zijn ze de meest vriendelijke, deskundige, ervaren en gecertificeerde bemanning in Huatulco! Er is een onderwater microfoon om te luisteren naar dolfijnen geklets! Onze 8.6m boot Stenella is gebouwd voor oceaanverkenning met 140pk motor, zitkussens voor maximaal 8 gasten, een spotting toren, marine toilet, Bluetooth stereo, een zwemladder, reddingsvesten (zuigelingen tot 130kg) en opblaasbare snorkelvesten.

We connected with Peter (owner) through a local dive master. We wanted to take a private tour with a local, knowledgeable, and responsible company. We found the right one in Oceanico. Peter and guide Isabel treated us to a visit with humpback whales, dolphins, turtles, a yellow-bellied sea snake, and snorkeling in 'secret bay' with an amazing variety of fish and sea creatures. This company has ties to the local and global research communities, a wealth of scientific talent, and a hyper-personal culture that is well-suited to curious travelers. True ocean nerds with a love for the great outdoors and the wildlife within. While you can elect to use your hotel/resort/beach contacts for this type of excursion, you likely won't get all the comforts and knowledge that Oceanico can provide. This was such a memorable experience! The crew worked so well as a team to find us some amazing sights…sea turtles, a few whales (one with her calf) as well as hundreds (yes, hundreds) of dolphins! Their method of having a spotter, a drone to follow from afar, and underwater microphone allowed a multifaceted experience that neither us nor our 11 yr old will soon forget. They also took some great pictures for us! Snorkeling wasn’t great bc of cold water jellyfish but this just allowed us to spend more time searching for whales. We would definitely do this again!!

The highlight of our 5 week trip here! Peter & Tito are excellent hosts. Peter is a Marine Biologist so he is extremely knowledgeable about whales, turtles and other marine life. We saw whales, many turtles, snorkeled in beautiful spots. Peter provided water and snacks. This adventure was well worth it, don’t hesitate to book, you won’t be disappointed!

It is a very nice experience, seeing dolphins, turtle, various fish and manta rays. They explained the species that lived on the coast of Huatulco and their characteristics. We saw a family of spotted dolphins, two mothers with their young and a juvenile specimen. Later we went to the bays and snorkeled on the reef where we could observe different species of fish and turtles. All the time we were accompanied by Maria and Peter who answered our doubts. We'll be back with them in whale season.

Doing an excursion like this with a marine biologist who LOVES their work makes all the difference. We learn so much every time we go out with this crew! We went 3 times on this last trip, and we are bringing friends with us from Canada next winter. Always a good time!
