Bezoek het Herenigingspaleis, voorheen bekend als het Onafhankelijkheidspaleis, gebouwd op de plaats van het voormalige Norodom-paleis, een monument in Hochiminh-stad.
Onze volgende stop is het War Remnants Museum. Geëxploiteerd door de Vietnamese regering, opende een beginnende vorm van museum op 4 september 1975, als het "Exhibition House for US and Puppet Crimes, gevestigd in het gebouw van het voormalige gebouw van het United States Information Agency.
Blijf het stadhuis, het Ho Chi Minh-monument en het centrale postkantoor bezoeken dat werd gebouwd toen Vietnam aan het begin van de 20e eeuw deel uitmaakte van Frans Indochina. Het heeft een neoklassieke bouwstijl. Het werd ontworpen en gebouwd door de beroemde architect Gustave Eiffel in harmonie met de omgeving. Tegenwoordig is het gebouw een toeristische attractie.
Vlakbij zie je de Notre Dame, een prachtig gebouw in het hart van de stad en opgericht door Franse kolonisten. Deze kathedraal werd gebouwd tussen 1863 en 1880. Het heeft twee klokkentorens met een hoogte van 58 meter (190 voet).
Zelf lunchen
Vervolg onze middag ontdekking van Saigon, de gewoontes van de lokale bevolking en de betekenis van koffie drinken in de Vietnamese cultuur. Koffieproductie is sinds het begin van de 20e eeuw een belangrijke bron van inkomsten voor Vietnam. De Vietnamese koffie-industrie werd voor het eerst geïntroduceerd door de Fransen in 1857 en ontwikkelde zich via het plantagesysteem tot een belangrijke economische kracht in het land.
