Met ons kom je meer te weten over de bijna 50 jaar van de Vietnamoorlog, evenals historische triomfen en opmerkelijke dapperheidsmomenten in Hanoi. Je wordt begeleid door lokale studenten naar historische bezienswaardigheden zoals het Ho Chi Minh Complex, Huu Tiep Lake en de Neergehaalde B - 52, en Hoa Lo Gevangenis om de trots en geest van het land te ervaren. Je kunt ook deelnemen aan een workshop om zelf bandensandalen te maken. Door voor onze tour te kiezen, heb je niet alleen een gedenkwaardige en gepersonaliseerde ervaring, maar ondersteun je ook de opleiding en toekomst van onze lokale studenten. LET OP : - De meeste musea zijn elke maandag en vrijdag gesloten. - Aanbevolen aanvangstijd : • Ochtend : 9u – 12u • Middag : 14u – 17u - Voel je vrij om uw reisschema met ons te personaliseren om het beste aan te passen aan uw interesses. - Let op: geen tanktops en shorts (boven de knie).

(Schema is flexibel) Onze gids haalt je op bij het ontmoetingspunt, waarna we per taxi of grijper naar het Ho Chi Minh-museum gaan. Het hele museum is een uitgebreide beschrijving van het leven van Ho Chi Minh.
(Schema is flexibel) Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, gelegen in het hart van Ba Dinh Square, is de laatste rustplaats van president Ho Chi Minh, de geliefde Leider van het Vietnamese volk. De plechtige structuur is een van de belangrijkste historische en politieke bezienswaardigheden in Vietnam en trekt jaarlijks miljoenen bezoekers die hun respect komen betuigen.
(Optioneel) Bandensandalen waren iconisch voor Ho Chi Minh President tijdens de oorlog. Je krijgt niet alleen de kans om zelf bandensandalen te maken, maar je zult ook verrast zijn over de betekenis en het verhaal achter Tire Sandal King (Optioneel) Opmerking : Gidsen zijn gratis, maar de ervaringskosten zijn NIET inbegrepen.
Daarna zullen we verhuizen naar de gevangenis van Hoa Lo, die ironisch genoeg de ‘Hanoi Hilton’ werd genoemd door Amerikaanse krijgsgevangenen tijdens de Amerikaanse oorlog. De meeste exposities hebben betrekking op het gebruik van de gevangenis tot het midden van de jaren vijftig, gericht op de Vietnamese strijd voor onafhankelijkheid van Frankrijk.
Onze volgende twee bestemming is het B-52 Victory Museum Hanoi waar wordt tentoongesteld: wapens, afbeeldingen, documenten, wrakstukken en vele andere dingen die de sluwe en creatieve geest van de troepen van Hanoi en zijn bewoners prijzen.

I did the war memorial tour with my partner. We had Chi as our guide and Trinh along as she was training to be a main guide. Both were so friendly and had a lot of really interesting information. We visited the Ho Chi Mihn Museum and Mausoleum (bring long pants/skirt and cover your shoulders so you can enter!!!). We also went to the hoa la prison, which had an intense history. Our guides explained it all so eloquently and obviously had a real passion for it. We went around 8am until 12.30, so to avoid the mid day heat, I would recommend this! The mausoleum is only open in the mornings too. We covered the admission for the prison, the guides gotten free for the other sites so we only had to pay for ourselves there. It was around 40k each, very reasonable. I would really recommend this tour if you're interested in finding out more about Vietnamese history. Thanks Chi and Trinh for a fantastic morning!! We did a mixed tour with another family and explored Ho Chi Minh Museum and Hoa Lo Prison for 5 hours. We learned a lot from our Tourguide Silky and the Subguide. Many texts in the Museum are only in Vietnamese, so it was really helpful to be able to ask so many questions. Silky was very interested in our western point of view on different topics which made for very intriguing conversation.

Had an amazing experience on the walking tour. My guides name was Diamond and she didnt disappoint!
