Ontdek een van de belangrijkste sites voor Hindoeïstische pelgrims tijdens een 4-uur durende sightseeingtour naar de Batu Caves vanuit Kuala Lumpur. Loop de 272 treden op naar het gouden beeld van Lord Murugan. Ga dan naar de 6-laagse Chinese tempel van Thean Hou en de Nationale Moskee.

De prachtige Batu Caves zijn een van de belangrijkste toeristische attracties in Maleisië. deze 100 jaar oude tempel heeft idolen en standbeelden die zijn gebouwd in de belangrijkste grotten en er omheen. Opgenomen met kalkstenen binnenformaties waarvan gezegd wordt dat ze ongeveer 400 miljoen jaar oud zijn, wordt de tempel beschouwd als een belangrijk religieus monument door hindoes.
Rij vervolgens naar Thean Hou Temple, een 6-voudige pagodetempel bovenop Robson Heights. Voltooid in 1987 en officieel geopend in 1989, het werd gebouwd door de Hainanese gemeenschap van Kuala Lumpur en is opgedragen aan de godin Tian Hou (de hemelse moeder).
Doorgaan naar China Town om de site van tientallen restaurants en eetstalletjes te betreden die worden onderhouden door Chinese, Indiase, Maleisische en Bengaalse handelaars. Kijk hoe ze lokale favorieten serveren, zoals curry-noedels, Hokkien mee (een noodle-gerecht uit Fujian), ikan bakar (gegrilde vis) en asam laksa (een soep op basis van zure, vis- en tamarinde).
Bekijk vervolgens de prachtige Nationale Moskee van Maleisië (Masjid Negara), die zich bevindt in 13 hectare aan prachtige tuinen. Bewonder de gedurfde aanpak van de architecten die het in de late jaren vijftig hebben ontworpen als een symbool van de ambities van de nieuwe onafhankelijke natie.
Koopje om leuke ambachten en souvenirs te kopen, want je bent dol op de Central Market. Een van de meest bezochte markt in Kuala Lumpur met traditionele architect.

I had an amazing tour with Sathia! She is passionate, considerate, humorous, and very good at communications. She made the whole tour so much more than just sightseeing. Her stories, energy, and local tips really made it special. We started our tour from Batu Caves. The colourful stairs look fantastic. I love the Hindu goddess Durga Devi, who’s an elegant warrior. Sathia brought cookies so that I’ve got a chance to feed the monkeys! Then we went to the National Mosque, Thean Hou Temple, and China Town. I enjoyed the beauty of the mixed-culture a lot. Sathia took great photos for me at every stop, and her obsession of clouds is lovely! She even took me to see different angles of Independent Tower. Her enthusiasm is infectious, which makes my whole tour more vivid. We finished our tour having lunch at Indian Empire, an incredible Indian restaurant. I told Sathia that I could not eat any spicy food, and the staff Sesha took care of that. The butter chicken was very delicious! Sathia made every minute of this tour worth it. I really had a great time! Will recommend to friends, and even bring my family to visit one day :)
