Een van de meest gefotografeerde locaties in Charleston. Deze beroemde rij kleurrijke historische huizen langs East Bay Street creëert een prachtige en levendige achtergrond voor foto's en is een van de meest iconische bezienswaardigheden van de stad.
In deze rustige historische straat fotografeer ik gasten met prachtige Charleston architectuur, ijzeren poorten en charmante deuropeningen. Het zachte licht en de klassieke huizen creëren elegante portretten die tijdloos en zeer “Charleston” aanvoelen.
Bij The Battery fotografeer ik gasten met uitzicht op Charleston Harbor, historische herenhuizen en de beroemde levende eikenbomen met Spaans mos. Deze locatie creëert dramatische, schilderachtige portretten met een prachtige achtergrond aan het water.
Church Street biedt een prachtig historisch landschap en een van de meest herkenbare kerktorens van Charleston. Ik fotografeer vaak gasten die langs de straat lopen met de historische gebouwen en palmbomen, waardoor klassieke Charleston-beelden ontstaan met een mix van architectuur en groen.
In de Franse wijk maken we foto's met historische stenen gebouwen, verborgen steegjes en charmante texturen die een Europees gevoel geven. Dit gebied is perfect voor artistieke portretten en openhartige wandelfoto's die het karakter van de historische wijk van Charleston laten zien.
Hier maken we foto’s bij de iconische Ananasfontein en langs de haven. Ik leg ontspannen en vrolijke portretten vast met uitzicht op het water, palmbomen en de charmante parksfeer, waardoor heldere en gedenkwaardige Charleston-beelden ontstaan.

My husband and I booked this photo session with Dennis for our “babymoon” during our first-time visit to Charleston. Dennis was commutative and responsive from booking, making sure he understood our aim for the session, checking to take into account locations that were of interest to us, and provide advice to ensure comfort in the hot summer temps. On the evening of the session when weather took a drastic turn with severe thunderstorms, he called to reschedule the shoot for a slightly later time when the storms had passed and made sure we knew he was still going to capture beautiful moments for us, rain or shine. My husband and I have never had professional photos taken, and I often am deeply uncomfortable in front of the camera, but Dennis was extremely personable and made sure we got more and more comfortable with each photo through posture guiding, assistance with positioning and facial expressions, and through humor as we made our way to various locations in historic Charleston. The only thing better than the service is the products, as the photos are gorgeous and everything we could’ve hoped for from the shoot. Dennis was an absolute pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend his services to anyone wanting to capture the memories and charm of this city. If we ever find ourselves back in Charleston, hopefully on a family trip with our little one, we would absolutely reach out to Dennis again to capture those moments.
We had a wonderful session with Dennis from Charleston Photo Art. He is friendly, considerate and talented. Even in 106° temps, he was able to take incredible photos of our 18 year old son for his senior pictures. We're excited for him to have unique photos for his senior announcements / celebrations.
