Laat je ophalen bij je hotel door een professionele gids die je rondleidt. Ontdek eerst het Muiderslot, dit 13e-eeuwse kasteel is een van de oudste in Nederland, een echt middeleeuws kasteel omringd door water met als enige ingang een liftbare brug. Het gebouw werd in 1280 gebouwd door graaf Floris V, vervolgens in 1370 in zijn oude glorie hersteld en sinds 1878 officieel Rijksmuseum genoemd. Het kasteel Muiderslot is ook op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO geplaatst. Daarna rijd je naar Castle de Haar. Of u de Haar bezoekt voor het park, de prachtige geschiedenis, de tentoonstellingen, de tuinen of de schoonheid van het kasteel, u zult uzelf in een andere wereld vinden. Leer over verschillende tijden, verschillende culturen, verschillende figuren. De Haar is het grootste kasteel van Nederland dat ooit in privébezit was van de familie van Zuylen en waarvan de afstammelingen nog steeds jaarlijks wonen. Na de rondleiding rijdt de gids je terug naar je hotel.

Great to see 2 castles in Netherlands — highlights in both castles — Guide was timely and took his time for most part taking us through the castles— overall very good, would have liked little more info from guide and several things he was not aware of, that we felt should have been — I.e. some of history, that gift shop at Muiderslot is permanently closed now— that the snack restaurant place at Castle de haar closes early so couldn’t get any food or snacks there at end of our tour— whrn he had discussed us doing that - and unable to answer some of questions (( questions that seemed relevant)) but he was very nice and kindly explained what he did know…
Yula was a wonderful tour guide and a complete delight—lots of insight into each castle and a bonus trip to the heart of Utrecht! The castles provided an interesting look into Dutch history, its lore and its wealth. It is definitely worth your time.

Michael was a great guide. Castle Muiderslot was the more authentic 13th century Castle. Kastel de Haar was the more ornate, but decorated in 19th century decor. I would definitely recommend. We also had time to explore some windmills.
We had a wonderful day touring 2 beautiful castles. We would not been able to do this day on our own and having an knowledgeable guide to drive us around and make sure we are comfortable, learning, and having fun was so great. Wonderful day and many beautiful pictures to remember it!
What a wonderful day we had visiting the two castles of Muiderslot and Castle de Haar. Our driver and guide, Bram, was fantastic. He was a lot of fun and we could tell he really enjoyed sharing this piece of Dutch history. The castles themselves were very different but both very interesting. Muiderslot is older, yet you can appreciate how grand it once was. Castle de Haar has been restored and is very elegant. I would absolutely recommend this tour!
