Deze dagexcursie naar Lake Nakuru geeft je de mogelijkheid om de wereldberoemde flamingo's te observeren en op zoek te gaan naar andere dieren in het wild, zoals buffels, neushoorns, giraffen en bavianen. Lake Nakuru is ook wereldberoemd als toevluchtsoord voor zowel de zwarte als de witte neushoorn.

Nadat u om 06.00 uur uw gids in uw hotel of verblijfplaats in Nairobi CBD hebt ontmoet, begint u uw reis naar Nakuru. Onderweg stop je bij het uitkijkpunt Great Riff Valley, waar je een prachtig uitzicht op de hellingen hebt. Aankomst om 9.00 uur in Lake Nakuru en voltooi de rit van 3 uur. Bij aankomst begint u aan de 3 uur durende gamedrive met uw gids en onderdeel. Pauzeer voor de lunch in een lokaal restaurant, Lake Nakuru Lodge. Als alternatief kunt u een vooraf afgesproken picknicklunch in het park nuttigen. Lunch en geniet daarna van extra gamedrives op weg naar buiten. Verlaat het park om ongeveer 15.00 uur en ga naar Lake Naivasha voor een boottocht van 1 uur. Tijdens de boottocht kunt u genieten van vogels kijken en nijlpaarden bekijken. Zodra uw boottocht ten einde is, keert u terug naar de kade. Begin de rit naar Nairobi voor aankomst om 18.00 uur en wordt afgezet bij uw hotel of verblijfplaats in Nairobi CBD
De Great Rift Valley is een reeks aaneengesloten geografische loopgraven, met een totale lengte van ongeveer 6.000 kilometer (3.700 mijl), die loopt van de Bekavallei in Libanon in Azië tot Mozambique in het zuidoosten van Afrika. Oh it was already my second safari with the company and i it exceeded my expectations again. Our guide Kevin made sure we really saw everything, from Zebras, Buffalos, Giraffes and Monkeys to the very rare to see white rhinos and leopards! We actually had an overnight stay in Naivasha aswell and it was a pleasure. The staff was extremely great and they offer great massages ;) Everything worked out fine, we were picked up at our house and brought back safely. My two friends and me were very lucky and had Kevin and the Van just for ourselves! I can really recommend this company, they won’t hide any fees and both the guide and the tour operator are there for you 24/7 to make it a perfect experience! Lake Nakuru was recommended to me by other travelers and it did not disappoint. The lake, especially at sunset is so beautiful and is filled with all kinds of birds such as flamingos and pelicans which you can see very closely. But the National Park offered so much more!

Relatively stressful. We closed a private tour with people leaving from two different cities. One of the transfers was late, we lost an hour or two at the end of the day and had to make the last run. Not to mention that lunch was four in the afternoon. On the second day the driver did not organize for us to enter the park, we arrived there 6:30 to see the sun rise and they did not accept payment in cash. The result: we did not enter the park, we have to wait 8 hours to be able to enter. Africa as a whole has a calmer culture with the organization, so don’t expect everything to go 100% as expected all the time. Anyway, 1 star because the problems were lack of organization of the driver in the two days.
