Dit is een privétour op maat in een luxe SUV. Ik ben een geschiedenisfanaat en ben al meer dan 12 jaar een privégids. Ik ben gecertificeerd door de staat Colorado voor privé rijden en begeleiden voor al mijn reizen. Ik zal je niet alleen de prachtige locaties van de Colorado Mountains laten zien, maar ik zal je ook enkele van de smerige en wellustige details van het verleden van Estes Park geven. In het Rocky Mountain National Park kunnen we kleine wandelingen maken naar de Alluvial Fan en andere locaties zoals Spaque Lake of Bear Lake. Er zijn veel wilde dieren te zien zoals muilezelherten, elanden, elanden en meer. Estes Park is een geweldige plek om souvenirs te kopen en te stoppen voor een hapje bij een van de lokale etablissementen die gespecialiseerd zijn in het lokale wild en eten. Als de klanten liever naar Grand Lake gaan, kan ik die route aanpassen en nemen. Dit is een volledige dag waar je enkele van de mooiste majestueuze locaties zult zien die er zijn. We rijden langs Larimer Square en het nieuwe kunstzinnige gebied van RiNo, waar veel muurschilderingen zijn van bedrijven die elk jaar in september worden geschilderd. Dit is een gebied vol coffeeshops, restaurants en natuurlijk micro-bierrestaurants.
We rijden van Denver naar Boulder Colorado en dan gaan we naar Lyon en dan naar Boulder en vervolgens naar Rocky Mountain National Park. Houd er rekening mee dat in de winter het Rocky Mountain National Park vanwege sneeuw vaak boven de 3.000 meter gesloten is. In de winter is het echter vaak gemakkelijker om Bear Lake in het park te bereiken vanwege de minder drukte.
Grand Lake is een prachtig bergmeer in het Rocky Mountain National Park.
De Alluviale ventilator is een geweldig gebied om het water te zien vallen en een wandeling te maken.
Nadat we de dag in het Rocky Mountain National Park hebben doorgebracht, rijden we Estes Park binnen om te winkelen en misschien een hapje te eten. Daarna keren we terug naar Denver via Boulder Colorado, een prachtige universiteitsstad met een charmante sfeer.
Op de terugweg rijden we terug door Boulder Colorado en als we de tijd nemen stoppen we bij Pearl Street Mall
Grand Lake is het grootste natuurlijke bergmeer in de Colorado Mountains. Het is ook een geweldige plek voor een late lunch. Na de lunch is de rit terug door de bergen naar Denver absoluut prachtig. Houd er rekening mee dat Grand Lake niet toegankelijk is vanaf de oostkant van het park vanwege sneeuw in de winter.
We reizen door Winter Park en gaan dan over de populaire Birtha Pass of we keren terug via Boulder Colorado.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Ik haal op bij alle hotels in het centrum van Denver, evenals andere hotels binnen 3 mijl van Lower Downtown Denver, evenals Airb & B en andere huizen in de omgeving van Denver. Als je verder weg bent, zoals het vliegveld of luchthavenhotel, stel ik voor dat we elkaar ontmoeten buiten Union Station in het centrum van Denver. Ik moedig klanten aan om de lightrail te nemen, omdat het een plezierige ervaring is en mijn charter laat me niet toe om op te halen op de luchthaven. Noch doe ik normaal airport hotel pick-ups als het is buiten mijn charter gebied, maar ik zal voor een extra vergoeding. Houd er rekening mee dat de tour in de winter tussen de 8 en 9 uur duurt, omdat een deel van het park op de top is afgesloten vanwege sneeuw. Maar we zijn in staat om dicht bij 10.000 voet te komen en naar het iconische Bear Lake te gaan, wat erg moeilijk is in de zomer, maar niet in de winter.

First of all, you think you are booking with Amtrak but in fact it is Aspire Tours. They are licensed to use the Amtrak name. You have only one day on the train, about 10 hours. The rest of the trip is on busses run by Salt Lake Express. The train portions was as scenic as advertised. Dinner was $45 PP. Be advised that you spend your nights in hotels. All very nice but it's up to you to get there. Budget about $300 for Uber expenses. The tour busses, small to full size were all very good. Search Trip Advisor for my critique of Salt Lake Express. Too long to write it all again. Just know it concerns a 7 hour delay and the police. My advice is to take the train portion, then rent a car in Yellowstone for the trip back to Salt Lake. Definitely book a tour at Yellowstone and Rocky Mountain or you will miss a lot. Book the whole thing yourself instead of Amtrak Tours. Book everything separately so you are in control. In Yellow stone we stayed at the Gray Wolf Inn. Newly remodeled. Very Nice. The tour also set us up at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center and the Warwick Denver Hotel. The Warwick is a very nice hotel but not in a good area of town.
It was absolutely an over the top experience! Brad was such an accommodating tour guide, and we saw some of the most beautiful sites ever! Brad really went out of his way to make us feel special and customize our trip to exactly how we wanted it. We highly recommend this private tour far above larger group tours. Thank you Brad for making our day great!
I lived in Denver so trips to Estes Park and RMNP are old hat for me. The new park system requires visitors to get a timed entry into the park and you must enter during that 2-hour window. If you enter during your assigned time, you can leave the Park and return. No timed pass is required before 9am or after 4pm. I stay at a friend's home, so I can't speak to accommodations. During the summer, downtown Estes Park is elbow-to-elbow people. The ideal time for a visit is early June or after Labor Day. The drive up Independence Pass is easy for mountain drivers but can be a bit scary for "flat-landers!" However, It's spectacular and there is still snow at the top in June. The road generally doesn't open until Memorial Day. The snowbank on each side of the road after it's first plowed can easily be more than 10 ft. high. There is also hiking (trails from easy to "you've got to be kidding!", horseback riding, etc. etc. Activities abound.
We had a great time with our guide Brad who showed us the sights of the Rockies and us being handicapped helped my husband get around with his sitting walker and removing walker from car and going and getting drinks for us and also took some pictures for us. We appreciated what he did for us. He was great and we appreciated his help.
Brad was very helpful from the moment I first contacted him about doing a tour. I was very pleased with his responsiveness, his tips and advice about what to focus on and especially with his patience in dealing with all my questions. The tour itself was very relaxing and enjoyable for both my husband and me. Brad went out of his way to make sure we saw all the things that interested us!
Brad is an excellent tour guide. He gave us an wonderful and memorable tour of Rocky Mountain National Park. He knew exactly which sights to take us to and supplemented the awesome beauty of the Park with his tremendous knowledge of the Park as well as other parts of Colorado. We look forward to taking more tours with him on future trips to Colorado. We highly recommend him as a tour guide.
Eric made us laugh while informing us of all the beauty and nature details around us. He even turned around once so we could see some elk we had missed near the road a few yards earlier. Ask for Eric when you go! Well worth the price. It saved my husband from us screaming "you're too close to the edge!.......get over!" so he was able to enjoy the view as well!
