Langs de kust van Amalfi op weg naar Positano rijd je door een expert langs het landschap van de meest beroemde Italiaanse Rivièra en stop je voor onvergetelijke foto's. Dan kom je aan in Positano, het kleine dorp met slechts eenrichtingsweg, de rest is het lopen en heb je de mogelijkheid om de smalle straatjes door het koude huis tot aan het strand te verkennen
In deze ervaring bezoekt u de stad Sorrento in de baai van Napels Je privérit zal je stoppen op het centrale plein gewijd aan een dichter Torquqto Tasso hier kun je het historische centrum bezoeken, een straat zonder verkeer, gewoon vol met vele boetiekjes en souvenirwinkels, maar ook artigianl werk zoals het ingelegde houtwerk en de beroemde liquore Limoncello hier kun je de bloem van de plaats testen?
Bij aankomst betreedt u de beroemde UNESCO-site en wandelt u door de oude stad van de Romeinen. Hier kun je terugkeren over de Romeinse levensstijl en wandelen in een uniek en een van de meest exemplaren van een Romeinse stad, daar kun je een monumentaal gebouw zien en nog veel meer zal zijn als een uitbarsting van de vulkaan Vesuvio die de stad voor altijd heeft bevroren.

Hello, I wanted to give you my honest opinion of the tour me and my family experienced today. The tour guide, was more of a taxi than a tour guide, we expected a tour and instead we sat in silence most of the trip and felt awkward, we arrived at our first destination, positano which we were given an he to explore with very little information or direction on what to do or even an option of what we could do.. we arrived at the pick up point in time and waited 15 mins for Mauro to arrive. We then go to our second spot in sorrento and again we’re given an hr to explore and again given no direction on what we could do there.. we then met up Again and went to Pompeii we’re given an hour it took us 30 mins in line and and to even walk in to the place, so by the time we went in, we had to come back out, 60euros wasted and more of our time wasted. in all, our experience felt rushed, unguided, silent and even awkward. The driver was on the phone messaging a friend on WhatsApp while driving us around and talking on the phone, this was the worst experience we’ve had so far and would not recommended it to anyone, I feel like he ruined our time in Napoli and we were so disappointed because we’ve been here before and have a had great experience. At the end, we didn’t feel like tipping because we felt he really didn’t deserve it, and it would’ve been cheaper to get a taxi right out of the ship than to book it through viator, but he got off the taxi opens the door and points at the dusty floor and demands we give him money to pay for the cleaning of his car! This to us was beyond ridiculous, we just came from Pompeii it’s dusty, he’s a taxi, like what does he expect? My husband gives him a 50 and asks him for change and he said the cleaning costs more in Italy and returned 20euros. He has put us all in a bad mood during our holiday, and I only hope he doesn’t do the same thing to another family in the future. BEWARE!!! DO NOT BOOK WITH THE DRIVER MAURO!!
You write this bad thinks about my driver only for revange because in the end of the tour when he droop off you in time in the port he realize after told you to do t eat in the car and after see you brush your dents in his car so. Thing very unusual because this thinks the normal people do it in private not in a private car Aniways he realize all the trush you leave in his car and just to be correct he show you all you rest chips bottle of beer and more and you was disappoint The veichle was clean whe he pick you up and he give the information but you was more interesse ti turn on the radio and hear intalian music Also for Pompei we have an option to buy in advance the thichet include in this way you can skip the line but you Don t add this option and it s not our foult if you wast a time to buy the entrance fee in Pompei than I was personally in the cruise terminal he wait for you we arrive half hour before Your I t s just a sort of revange against one good guy he work and only thinks he Don t like the people like you Don t have respect for the worker he only request to do t eat in the car or be clean just this I wish to do t have a customers like you anymore we need a respect for our job and like a person
Dodi took very good care of us! He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the Amalfi Coast, Positano, and Sorrento. As he is not a tour guide, he wasn't able to accompany us into Pompeii, but that wasn't a problem. We found the areas we visited amazing and I would recommend this trip to anyone who only has one day in Naples. If you have more than a day, I'd break this up and spend more time in each spot. We also stopped for a small tour of a Limoncello factory and had a sample. He took us to a great restaurant for lunch. Hiring a private driver is the only way to go for excursions, although you want to be sure their English is good (Dodi's is), otherwise, you need a tour guide as well. The guide was amazing, detailed. Confident and thorough. I would recommend this experience. The casts made from the bodies that were buried in Pompeii as a result of the volcano made it all very real. The remains that are preserved brings the information to life.

Sorrento was a lovely town and good shopping. We never got to Positano, was told would have been wonderful. Never got in Pompeii ruins, but did take a couple of pictures through the fence. Driver did stop at a nice restaurant so we could use restroom and drink and pizza.

Our driver, Antonio, was great and very accommodating. He shared many stories of folklore and history of the cities that we visited. Positano was beautiful, could actually spend a couple days there verses an hour. Sorrento was bustling with activity and good shopping venues. Our private guide, another Antonio, in Pompeii was very entertaining and knowledgeable. The ruins are a must see, again, you could spend a couple days if you want to explore more. Overall a wonderful experience!
