Dit schema is het basisschema en kan variëren afhankelijk van de instaptijd. Het is een aangepast tourschema voor cruiseklanten die Jeju bezoeken. Omdat de verblijftijd kort is, is het noodzakelijk om de attracties snel en veilig te ervaren. Het is een kans om de koele Manjanggul Cave, een World Natural Heritage site, en Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, een UNESCO-site, te ervaren en een oogje op het leven van Jeju haenyeo te houden. Als u uw tour begint bij de cruiseterminal in het centrum van Seogwipo Gangjeong Cruise Terminal , ga dan naar de Jeongbang waterval en Oedogae en Seongsan illchulbong EN Gwangchigi Beach / Manjanggul grot Als je je tour begint bij de cruiseterminal in het centrum van Jeju stad, ga dan naar het Jeju Haenyeo Museum / Seongsanilchulbong / Seongeup Folk dorp / manjanggul grot. Jeju Stone Culture Park en Haenyeo Museum zijn elke maandag gesloten. Op dat moment wordt het vervangen door Dongmun Traditional Market of Hamdeok Beach.

Als u langs Jeju Olle Course 19 loopt, komt u Hamdeok Beach tegen, dat een smaragdgroen juweel heeft. Hamdeok Beach, gelegen in Hamdeok-ri, Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si, wordt ook wel ‘Hamdeok Seoubong Beach’ genoemd omdat Oreum (Seoubong Peak) direct naast het strand ligt. Het ligt op slechts 20 km afstand van de luchthaven van Jeju, maar zodra je hier aankomt, heb je het gevoel dat je in een ander land bent. Zo zijn de hoge palmbomen die je verwelkomen vanaf de ingang, de smaragdgroene zee die contrasteert met het witte zand, het heldere water en de witte golven die zelfs het zand en het zeewier transparant maken. Als u van de vele stranden op het eiland Jeju drie plaatsen met de mooiste zeekleur kiest, zijn dit zeker Hyeopjae Beach, Gimnyeong Beach en Hamdeok Beach. Het water is helder en de waterdiepte is ondiep, dus het is ook een goed zomerresort voor gezinnen. De westkant van het strand is verbonden door een viaduct, zodat u heerlijk over zee kunt wandelen.
성산일출봉(seongsan illchulbong) Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone, een mijlpaal in Jeju, werd ongeveer 5000 jaar geleden gevormd door een uitbarsting van magma op de oceaanbodem. Het is vooral beroemd als plek om de zonsopgang te bekijken en staat bekend als een van de tien prachtige landschappen van het eiland Jeju. Naast het bekijken van de zonsopgang staat Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone ook bekend als een uitstekende trekkingplek. De Seongsan-Ojo Trail verbindt twee dorpen door de top over te steken. Een andere populaire route, de Jijil Trail, biedt een kijkje in het door UNESCO aangewezen geopark en de lokale cultuur van Jeju. Om de omgeving echt te ervaren is het wandelen langs één van deze paden een aanrader; helemaal naar de top lopen biedt uitzicht op zowel de enorme vulkanische krater in het centrum als de blauwe oceaan rondom het gebied. Om uw reis compleet te maken, gaat u naar de haven van Seongsanpo om haenyeo (vrouwelijke duikers) aan het werk te zien.
Jeju haenyeo zijn de sterke moeders van Jeju en de spirituele pijlers van de inwoners van Jeju. Ook is het leven van de Jeju haenyeo-gemeenschap een model waar de mensheid naar moet streven. Jeju haenyeo vormde een op verdiensten gebaseerde gemeenschap en besliste democratisch via discussies. Ze zorgde niet alleen voor ouderen en zieken, zoals Halmang Badang en Geseok, en zamelde met haar materiële winst geld in om bij te dragen aan de samenleving, zoals dorpen en scholen. Ze bedacht ook verschillende constructies om naast de zee te kunnen bestaan, zoals strandvegen, goudroof en dialyse. De Jeju haenyeo-cultuur werd erkend vanwege zijn waarde en werd op 30 november 2016 (lokale tijd) geregistreerd als immaterieel cultureel erfgoed van de mensheid door UNESCO.
Je vindt de grootste vismarkt in Jeju-si, waar ook de Sanjicheon-fontein te vinden is. Dongmun Market Place bestaat uit de Dongmun-straatmarkt, de traditionele Dongmun-markt en de vismarkt van Dongmun. Hier kunt u onder andere allerlei soorten seizoensvis en zuurvis kopen.
Het hele dorp, waar de inwoners van het oude Jeju woonden, is aangewezen als belangrijk folklore-cultureel erfgoed. Hoewel het als een soort volksdorp kan worden beschouwd, verschilt het van gewone volksdorpen doordat er tot op de dag van vandaag nog steeds mensen wonen. De dorpsbewoners treden op als vrijwillige gidsen en bieden bezoekers allerlei informatie. De zaagblad Zelkova en de Japanse hackberry in het centrum van het dorp zijn de moeite waard om even te bekijken.
De totale lengte van Manjanggul Lava Tube is ongeveer 7,4 km. Het is een lavabuis die gedeeltelijk uit meerdere lagen bestaat. De hoofdtunnel is 18m breed en 23m hoog. Het is een van de grootste lavabuizen ter wereld. Er zijn veel lavabuizen in de wereld, maar Manjanggul Lava Tube heeft een belangrijke betekenis omdat het duizenden jaren geleden is gevormd en zeer goed bewaard is gebleven. Daarom is het zeer waardevol voor onderzoekers en wetenschappers. Door het verzakken van het plafond zijn er 3 ingangen. Degene die toeristen kunnen gebruiken is de tweede ingang en ze mogen er maar tot 1 km in. Er zijn verschillende grotformaties in de Lavatunnel in Manjanggul Lava Tube, zoals stalactieten, stalagmieten, flowstones, lavabuizen, lavaplanken en lavavlotten. Met name de lavakolom die zich aan het einde van het toeristische gebied bevindt is ongeveer 7,6 meter hoog en staat bekend als de hoogste lavakolom ter wereld.

Mr. Hong is both an excellent driver and an excellent guide. He is knowledgeable about the history and customs of Jeju, and gave us excellent recommendations of things to do with a limited time in Jeju. He insured we did all the key tourist attractions and local attractions in Jeju in only eight hours. Our guide, Mr. Ko, was very kind and helpful and took us to three amazing spots on our tour - the Stone Park, Seongsan Sunrise Peak, and Dongmun Market - all very interesting and photogenic in different ways. We saw a lot of the island, too, as the sights were a little far apart. Mr. Ko’s vehicle was extremely clean and comfortable and he was a good driver. Although he didn’t speak a lot of English, we were able to communicate.

Mr. Ko took our family of 7 to the east side of Jeju Island to explore. There was communication prior to the tour to make sure we knew where to meet him, the tour itself was very interesting and he went out of his way to accommodate us by taking half the group to one restaurant since they wanted seafood, while the other half wanted to have some Black pork for lunch.

Mr HOng was one of the happiest person i ever met. He was constantly smiling no matter what. He was very accomodating to our needs. He found a great restaurant for a perfect lunch . Unfortunately the day we visited Jeju it rained constantly. Our driver/guide did his best to make our visit interesting. The weather was against him! The taxi/people carrier was very comfortable.

This was a wonderful tour as we got to see beautiful highlights of the island on a short port day off of a cruise. Our tour guide was incredibly attentive, and at one point went above and beyond the call of duty to get a dear friend’s sunglasses out of a sewer grate. Long story there, lol. He brought us to a wonderful place for lunch, with authentic, local food. The only downside to this entire tour was that he was not really English-speaking. We feel like we could have learned a lot more about the area if we were able to communicate more with him. But as far as feeling safe, seeing very interesting things, and, being well looked after, he met those aspects with a bright shining star!

Lee was a terrific tour guide. He commutative, kind and super friendly. He took us to various sightseeing spots, more than I expected. He even found this fabulous lunch spot and ordered for us a great meal. I couldn't have asked for a better day. Visiting with a tour guide is a must on the island.
