Long day, glad I wasn't driving. Only a few people, so plenty of space to wonder and take photographs. Abydos only had about 12 people there total. No wonder, the road through the town is horrific.

This is an amazing archeological site and best beautiful temple's in Egypt we visited with a Egyptologist tour guide mr Mohammed he is very prepared person on the whole story explained in details everything we needed to know about the archaeological sites . This is a review in two halves. The good: we had the best guide of our trip here - hence the 3 stars. I came away with a solid understanding of both temples, ancient ceremonies and how to read and understand the iconography. The driver was also safe. The bad: this wasn’t a private tour. We were paired with another couple. While that wasn’t the issue, the fact that they were behind us by a hour was. We were driven to the first temple 20 miles under the speed limit to let the other couple catch up. The driver made serious tracks on the way back as a comparison. We then only had 15 mins of solo exploration/photo time at each temple. I can’t help but think we would have had more if we hadn’t been delayed. That was pretty disappointing. I’m going to check the recommend option for the trip, please take it on a buyer beware light. If you’re going to Dendera it may be helpful to know that buying a crypt ticket means crawling into a very small hole that does open into a passageway that is high enough to stand in. The ticket collector pays no attention to the number of people in the crypt making it overcrowded to the point that it feels unsafe and it’s challenging to get out.

We had a lovely time visited the 2 of the beautiful Temple's North of Luxor . Dandera was our favorite the coolers in this Temple is more than Amazing , we had been everywhere in this Temple the panorama and the crypt .

The driver and guide were very nice. The guide was knowledgeable and shared information about the two temples. I would like to make special mention of the driver who found my hat and some money and medication in the car that had been accidentally left behind. He organised a friend to deliver them to us. This is important because we had moved to Hurghada by that time and the driver went out of his way to find someone going to the new city so they could be dropped off. This is over and above what I would expect. I highly recommend both the guide and the driver but especially recommend the driver.
