Ga eerst naar de historische stad Esztergom, de voormalige hoofdstad van Hongarije en de zetel van de katholieke kerk. Bezoek hier de heersende Esztergom-basiliek, een enorm groen koepelvormig gebouw dat de grootste kerk van Hongarije is en kilometers ver zichtbaar is. Ga naar binnen om het interieur te bewonderen met zijn renaissancemotieven en schilderijen.
Verken de gerestaureerde kamers van Visegrád Royal Palace, een zetel van koninklijke macht in de jaren 1400, en bezoek de ommuurde 13e-eeuwse citadel, een vestingpaleis op een heuvel dat ooit de kroonjuwelen van Hongarije hield. Geniet van het vogelperspectief van de Donau-bocht vanaf de wallen en tank vervolgens bij met een heerlijke driegangenlunch, drankje en koffie in een charmant restaurant met uitzicht op de rivier.

Christina Teplan was our guide for 2 full days & we learned ALL the Hungarian history. Very knowledgeable and extremely friendly, would highly recommend her and our driver Lazlo. We would prefer other lunch restaurant options - not traditional Hungarian every day. Only thing I would change!! Wonderful experience thank you! Kasi!!
Zoltan was an excellent guide. He took the trouble to provide rich insights of the Hungarian history. The castle and basilica were worth the time.

our guide Katerina was amazing, very knowledgable. she made our day fun by showing us all the sites with time to wander and take photos. She did not overpower us with too many dates and details but was able to answer any questions we had. Included lunch was amazing ...alot more than we expected. Spectacular views of the Danube Bend. I did this tour as part of my holidays to Hungary and support of the Portugal National team who were based from Budapest. We were having a lot of fun with Michael to be our private tour guide to go to the Danube Bend. He was knowledgeable (was able to answer any questions asking by my husband), friendly with a lot of patients. He was also a talented mobile photographer and made this whole trip very fun.
