Je wordt opgehaald bij elk hotel in het stadsgebied van Bangkok en vertrekt vanuit Bangkok naar de Mae Klong-spoorwegmarkt.
Mae Klong Railway Market wordt beschouwd als een van de verbazingwekkende attracties van Thailand. De markt bevindt zich bij het spoor in de buurt van het treinstation van Mae Klong. Het is een gemeenschappelijke versmarkt waar zeevruchten, groenten, fruit, vers en gedroogd voedsel en andere diverse goederen worden verkocht. De markt wordt de 'levensgevaarlijke' markt genoemd omdat de kraampjes zijn aangesloten op de Mae Klong-Ban Laem-spoorweg, een korte spoorlijn die van en naar Mahachai en Mae Klong loopt. Verkopers op de markt zetten parasols of doeken neer om zich tegen de zon te beschermen. De abri's steken in het spoor, waar bezoekers lopen en boodschappen doen. Wanneer elk signaal van de aankomende trein gaat, ontstaat er chaos: verkopers haasten zich om hun parasols en canvas te sluiten en alle goederen op te ruimen die de komende trein met grote snelheid zullen belemmeren. Zodra de trein passeert, worden parasols en canvas weer geopend en worden goederen weer op hun gebruikelijke plek naast de spoorlijn gezet.
Wat Bang Kung is een oude tempel in Samut Songkhram, Thailand. Het werd gebouwd in de Ayutthaya-periode. Het was de locatie van de Slag om Bang Kung tussen de Konbaung-dynastie en het Thonburi-koninkrijk.
Het Amphawa-kanaal wordt bezet door verkopers die hun boten vullen met eten en drinken, zoals gebakken zeemosselen, noedels, koffie, O-Liang (zwarte ijskoffie), snoep, enz. Deze drijvende markt is een van de meest populaire markten in de omgeving van Bangkok! Met Thaise en Chinese fusion-architectuurstijlen staan er al tientallen jaren veel oude gebouwen aan de rivier. Met de boot naar de rivier en samen op zoek naar de vuurvliegjes! Met een prachtige en goed bewaarde natuurlijke omgeving, zijn er vuurvliegjes en veel insecten en vogels in de jangle, waar we op de boot van kunnen genieten.

We were exhausted from the heat and having just arrived late at night with three children, and we couldn't speak English very well, but they were very kind to accommodate us. It was a bit pricey, but we got to experience how to pray at the temple and the atmosphere that can only be experienced by connecting directly with the local people, and it was a truly wonderful experience. We are truly grateful.

Memorable parts - how horrible the tour was. Old open water bottlea in the car when we got in. Guide slept most of the way to our destination. She was nice, but she did not know enough English to provide us any info or answer any quesrions. I finally just went online and looked things up myself. Worst Viator tour I have ever taken.

An amazing experience ! A good guide. The railway was cool. When you are the first time in Bangkok you have to do this tour.
Perfect organisation with good river and perfect guide. Visits as expected. For Amphawa market is a weekday not the best day to visit. Fireflies OK but would be better in rainseason.
Very happy that we booked this tour, courteous private driver/guide, and well planned schedule overall. Enjoyed every single locations, and we could see and move around freely which is not the case with large group tours. Highly recommended.
My favorite part was the boat trip which let us to some off tourist areas. Also the personal care the guide Aey put in the guide make this a one of kind experience. Thx Aey
