Tijdens deze dagtour stoppen we eerst in Pisa, waar je het indrukwekkende Piazza dei Miracoli kunt zien terwijl je chauffeur / gids de historische gebouwen om je heen bespreekt. Bekijk de doopkapel, de Duomo en de meest iconische attractie van de stad, de scheve toren van Pisa die op de UNESCO-lijst staat. Van Pisa rijden we naar Vinci om het platteland te ontdekken waar een van de meest briljante renaissance-persoonlijkheden, Leonardo da Vinci, werd geboren en gewoond. Bezoek zijn geboorteplaats, een boerderij in de stad Anchiano. Nadat we naar Lucca zijn gegaan, is het tegen de tijd dat we daar aankomen voor de lunch, je chauffeur zal je een lokaal restaurant aanbevelen waar je kunt genieten van een authentieke Italiaanse maaltijd. Na de lunch maken we een wandeltocht om de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden van de stad te bewonderen, zoals het Anfiteatro-plein, de Guinigitoren, de kathedraal van San Martino en een wandeling door de pittoreske straten met antiekwinkels. Voordat we Lucca verlaten, hebben we wat vrije tijd om te genieten van een stukje Buccellato - de traditionele cake van Lucca.

Pisa is een stad in de Toscaanse regio Italië, vooral bekend om zijn iconische scheve toren. Al kantelend toen het in 1372 werd voltooid, is de 56m witte cilinder van marmer de klokkentoren van de Romaanse, gestreepte marmeren kathedraal die ernaast op de Piazza dei Miracoli staat. Ook op het plein is de doopkapel, wiens beroemde akoestiek dagelijks wordt gedemonstreerd door amateurzangers, en de begraafplaats Caposanto Monumentale.

Lucca is een stad aan de rivier de Serchio in de regio Toscane in Italië. Het staat bekend om de goed bewaarde renaissancemuren rond het historische stadscentrum en de geplaveide straten. Brede, met bomen omzoomde paden langs de toppen van deze enorme 16e en 17e-eeuwse wallen zijn populair om te wandelen en fietsen. Casa di Puccini, waar de grote operacomponist werd geboren, is nu een huismuseum.
Piazza dell'Anfiteatro is een openbaar plein in het noordoostelijke kwadrant van het ommuurde centrum van Lucca.

Vinci is een stad - officieel een "stad" - en gemeente van de grootstedelijke stad Florence in de Italiaanse regio Toscane. De geboorteplaats van Renaissance polymath Leonardo da Vinci ligt net buiten de stad.

This was an excellent day trip and a wonderful way to experience some of Tuscany's most charming destinations in one tour. Visiting Pisa, Lucca, and Vinci gave us the perfect mix of iconic landmarks, beautiful scenery, and small-town charm. Our driver was friendly, professional, and made the entire day effortless. He shared interesting information along the way, offered great recommendations, and made sure we had plenty of time to explore each stop at our own pace. We never felt rushed, and the itinerary was well balanced. From taking photos at the Leaning Tower of Pisa to strolling through the beautiful streets of Lucca and visiting the hometown of Leonardo da Vinci, every stop offered something unique. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see more of Tuscany beyond Florence.
We only made it to Lucca and Pisa. The order of the trip was modified to start in Lucca, I believe due to weather. Lucca was fabulous we wandered the city, then went to a great place for lunch between Lucca and Pisa. The Tower of Pisa and everything surrounding was very interesting and enjoyable. We didn't make it to Vinci, ran out of time on the 9 hour trip. Driver was good, helpful, considerate and directed us in the right direction and sites. Would have liked more of the history of the places.

We had a great day. The order of the tour was different than advertised, ut worked out well regardless. Started in Lucca and wandered around a really neat town, visiting the Duomo and a couple piazza's and shops. Then had a fabulous lunch at a place our driver recommended between Lucca and Pisa. The leaning tower and the area was very interesting and we really enjoyed the whole experience. Between lingering probably too long at other stops and just enjoying ourselves too much we ran out of time to go to Vinci. Our tour was 9hours of enjoying Italy. Our driver Zach was very friendly, helpful and directed us to the right locations, especially lunch. We have been nice if he shared a more history of the sites.
