We behandelen alle belangrijke hoogtepunten die Lima te bieden heeft, van de geschiedenis van vóór de incan en de koloniale architectuur tot bekroonde gastronomie en een privérondleiding door de topattractie van Lima, het Larco Museum. Met je privégids en transport biedt deze tour niet alleen een goed geplande en handig doordachte route, maar de kans om te communiceren en de stad te bereizen met een nieuwe lokale vriend.

Onze eerste stop op het historische gedeelte in het centrum van onze tour. Hier herkennen we een van Peru's bekendste bevrijders, Jose de San Martin.
Ook bekend als het St. Franciscus-klooster in het Engels, werden de kerk en het klooster toegevoegd aan de UNESCO Werelderfgoedlijst in 1991. De site bevat een wereldbefaamde bibliotheek met ongeveer 25.000 antieke teksten en in de catacomben daaronder wordt geschat dat dit hetzelfde is aantal mensen werd gelegd om te rusten. Vandaag kun je de ooit verborgen passages verkennen en de uniek weergegeven overblijfselen van de eerste Limeños bekijken.
Hier zullen we een paar minuten doorbrengen in het centrum van Lima. De Plaza de Armas is de thuisbasis van het presidentiële paleis, het paleis van de aartsbisschop, de kathedraal en de gemeentelijke gebouwen en kan vaak een levendige plaats zijn vol mensen en verschillende vormen van entertainment.
Gebouwd bovenop een piramide van de zevende eeuw, is dit vic-koninklijke herenhuis een plaats om te zien met zijn prachtig verzorgde tuinen; je zult merken dat je foto's van het terrein maakt net zo veel als de relieken erin. Het gedeelte van de tour bestaat uit boeiende geschiedenis, een 45.000-delige winkel met antiquiteiten en een intrigerende erotische collectie (deze kamer kan worden weggelaten als je met jongere kinderen op tour gaat). Daarna hebben we tijd om te genieten van een heerlijke lunch omringd door kleurrijke tuinen op de patio van het museumcafé.
Een korte stop om Lima's beroemdste solide piramide te observeren die werd gebruikt als ceremoniële site voor de Lima-cultuur in de jaren 200 tot 700 na Christus. Een volledige rondleiding door de site wordt niet gemaakt, alleen van buitenaf bekeken.
Een artistiek park gelegen aan de kliffen aan de zee van Miraflores. Observeer de para-zweefvliegtuigen die over het hoofd zeilen en lokale jonge stellen die over de paden lopen die zijn toegewijd aan geliefden overal. Een geweldige plek om snel een foto van jezelf en een geliefde te maken!
Bekijk de meer hedendaagse kant van Lima met zijn uitzichten op de oceaan en prachtige parken. Inbegrepen in dit gedeelte van de tour zijn stops bij de Huaca Pucllana en Parque de Amor (Love Park.)
Zittend op ongeveer 251 meter boven de zeespiegel, krijgt u een prachtig uitzicht op de Pacifische kustlijn, de Chorrillos Bay en de Shanty-steden hieronder. Vaak over het hoofd gezien op andere tours, dit kan het hoogtepunt van ons zijn!

We kunnen ophalen van elke locatie in Metropolitan Lima, maar als buiten Miraflores, San Isidro of Barranco, zijn er extra kosten. Wij bieden deze tour aan in de vorm van een tussenstop of excursie aan land, kies de juiste optie bij het selecteren van uw tourgraad. Als u verblijft in het Wyndham Grand Costa del Sol of Holiday pension Airport Hotels, dan moet u de optie Tour from Airport kiezen.

We booked this tour for a long layover in Lima and it exceeded our expectations! Our guide Edgar was not only very knowledgeable, he made the tour fun. George, our driver, added to the fun while safely navigating the traffic and avoiding jams. Among our favorite sites were the church and catacombs, the Museo Larco (beautiful grounds and excellent food), and “lovers park” with its Gaudi-inspired wall. We highly recommend this tour.

This tour was a perfect way to spend a long layover in Lima. We were picked up at the airport by our guide Edgar and driver George. Edgar answered all our many questions, providing insightful and fun facts about the city and the sites. Highlights for us were the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco with its catacombs and the Museo Larco, where we had a delicious lunch.
