Privédagtocht naar de thermale baden van Pozar en de watervallen van Edessa

Deze reis neemt je mee naar het gebied van Almopia waar de thermale bronnen van Pozar (onder het vuur in de Slavische taal) zich bevinden aan de voet van de berg Voras. Daar bevinden zich de faciliteiten van Pozar-baden, met zijn 48 individuele baden, 6 binnenzwembaden en het grote buitenbad. Het is een perfecte plek om te ontspannen en de angst van het stadsleven weg te spoelen. Bezoek ook de prachtige watervallen in Edessa, wandel door het natuurpark en lunch bij de watervallen. Keer terug naar Thessaloniki in de middag.

Waan je in een zwembad te midden van steile rotsen, natuurlijke watervallen en wilde vegetatie. Voel de weldadige warmte van het water (37⁰C) die uw lichaam ontlast, en laat uw ogen dwalen rond de groene kloof waar de Agios Nikolaos (Sint-Nicolaas) stroom stroomt (ook bekend als Thermopotamos wat 'hete rivier' betekent in het Grieks). Zet je zintuigen op scherp in deze ongerepte natuur waar groen koning is en zelfs de takken van de bomen (voornamelijk platanen en wilgen) allemaal bedekt zijn met weelderige klimop. Geniet van de stimulerende sensatie van het 37 graden kristalheldere water in het buitenzwembad dat wordt omringd door de natuur!
In de stad Edessa bezoeken we de unieke watervallen en wandelen we door het prachtige natuurpark. Ook optionele stop voor lunch bij de watervallen.

Wij halen gasten op van alle hotels en Airbnb's in Thessaloniki. Als het hotel vanwege beperkingen niet bereikbaar is met de auto, wordt de ophaalservice op korte loopafstand gehouden van een nabijgelegen locatie. Cruiseschip reizigers: Ontmoetingspunt is de uitgang van de cruisehaventerminal. Uw gids houdt een naambord met reizigersnaam op.

The waterfalls was the best part. Beautiful scenery and rushing water and falls. From our Ships port it was at least an hour drive to the first stop. Our guide /driver was excellent and very knowledgeable.

We did this excursion on our cruise stop in Thessaloniki. We had the absolute best day. Antonis was our tour guide, he was absolutely amazing! He was funny and so kind. The thermal bath was so peaceful and warm. The restaurant at the top of the stairs was delicious. Great food and great service. The second stop at the waterfall was so beautiful. Our ride from the port was about an hour and 40 minutes, it was so scenic. The drive went by so quickly with amazing Antonis. Definitely would recommend this tour and Antonis!

Our driver Bill was excellent. He drove safely and we never felt any anxiety while on the road. He took us to the thermal springs which were very nice. But the highlight was Edessa Falls. They are so beautiful. Bill stayed with us and took pictures for us so we could both be in them. He then took us to an amazing restaurant with food to die for. I recommend this excursion if you’re interested in really seeing the beautiful countryside. And if you get Bill as your driver then you’ll be super lucky.
