De Gids haalt u om 10 uur op van uw adres in Belgrado (starttijd kan op aanvraag worden aangepast) en na een uur rijden bereikt u klooster Krusedol. Het kloostercomplex uit de zestiende eeuw wordt beschouwd als het belangrijkste klooster in de regio Fruska Gora. Dit is een perfecte plek om meer te leren over de Servische geschiedenis en turbulente tijden tussen Austia en het Ottomaanse rijk.
Vanuit Krusedol rijdt u verder naar klooster Grgeteg. Dit klooster geniet veel respect onder de Fruska Gora kloosters en een van de redenen is het icoon van de Heilige Moeder met drie handen. Meer over de oprichter en dit wonderbaarlijke icoon leer je van je Gids tijdens de tour.
Vervolgens bereikt u de charmante barokke stad - Sremski Karlovci. In het prachtige centrum van de stad zijn er verschillende must see plekken: fonteinen, woningen, kathedralen allemaal gebouwd in de 18e eeuw. Maar het belangrijkste hoogtepunt zijn de wijnen zoals Bermet, die in veel hoge hoven van Europa werd gedronken.
Volgende stop is een van de mooiste forten van Europa. Petrovaradin is een echt barok juweeltje uit de Oostenrijks-Hongaarse tijd. Geniet van het geweldige uitzicht over de Donau, en ontdek waarom het 88 jaar duurde om dit fort te voltooien en welke geheimen er onder deze site worden bewaard.
Als we klaar zijn met bezienswaardigheden, cultuur en geschiedenis stoppen we op één speciale plek, een wijnkelder in familiebezit voor wijnproeverijen en lunch. In dit gezellige familierestaurant ervaart u de beroemde Servische gastvrijheid en geniet u van een smakelijke zelfgemaakte maaltijd. Tijdens de winterperiode is deze wijnkelder gesloten en een alternatief voor de lunch is lokale wijnmakerij in Sremski Karlovci.
Na de lokale gastronomie-ervaring is de volgende stop donwtown Novi Sad. Wandel door het charmante stadscentrum en leer hoe de geschiedenis deze interessante stad heeft gevormd.

It was the perfect trip for a solo traveller. The pace was good. Dragan my guide was both knowledgeable and attentive. The tour company provided little extras like a welcome gift and a postcard of pics from the trip. That was unexpected and a lovely touch. Loved the wine tasting which was part of the tour. This is a must do trip.
We recently took a private guided tour of Fruška Gora and Novi Sad with Serbian Private Tours, and it was an absolutely phenomenal experience. Andrija Vatović was the perfect guide —incredibly knowledgeable and balanced in his approach. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with him, which covered everything from the culture and history to the politics of the region; it was truly a fantastic way to get an authentic feel for Serbia. The entire day was exceptionally well-planned and organized. A major highlight was the elaborate wine tasting and lunch at a stunning winery. Sitting out in the vineyard on a beautiful, sunny, and mild afternoon was simply magical. We strongly recommend this tour and sincerely hope to come back for more!
This is the 2nd time I have done this day trip. I took my mother on this trip and I wanted her to see Sremski Karlovci and Novi Sad. Both of these places deserve more than a short stop. Our driver was Vladica. He spoke great English, was very knowledgeable, and had a clean and comfortable car. We really enjoyed the day and had an amazing lunch at Pasent Restaurant on the banks of the Danube.
Excellent tour outside of Belgrade. Vladica showed us beautiful sites and scenery and shared much about the geography, culture, and history of the region - an excellent guide. The winery tour, wine tasting, and hospitality was a highlight of the tour.
We had the best acknowledge guide Andrew from Serbian private tour that made our trip perfect . Novi sad and the monastery area looks great and the people are very friendly.
The whole trip was just perfect and our guide Andrew was so helpful and informative . Novi sad is worth to visit anytime even under the rain.
My family and I had an amazing experience of this tour. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting Novi Sad and the Fruska Gora Monastry, and stopping for lunch at the Djurdjić winery was a highlight! Vladica was a warm and knowledgeable guide. We have left with lots of great memories of this trip.
Serbian Private Tours are the most amazing company. We totally messed up our dates and so we're not around at the time. They checked all ways, including A and E. My phone stopped working as well. What a mess. Anyway we eventually made contact 2 hours late when we realised our mistake. They were still waiting for us ang we dashed to meet our driver. Can you imagine any other company doing that. The tour itself was excellent, with visit to a monastery as well as a tour of Novi Sad. And ..... a visit to a local vineyard including a delightful lunch accompanied by large glasses of several of their wines. Our driver/guild was absolutely excellent. The company was so very easy to contact , except of course on our messed up day coinciding with my phone malfunction. At other times. any query was answered immediately. They have an interesting selection of tours, but their concerns about us were absolutely amazing. If we return to Belgrade we will 😁 definitely use them again
We spent a day with Andrija as our tour guide to explore the area around Novi Sad. Andrija is both highly professional and super nice and knowledgeable. We had a thousand questions for him regarding Serbian history, wars, religion, traditions, food, family values, Serbian economy, real estate market, etc. He patiently and diligently answered each and every one of them in great detail. His depth of knowledge is really impressive. We left the tour with a great understanding of Serbian culture and history and with valuable impressions of the Northern part of Serbia. I toured a Fruska Gora Monastery, Sremski Karlovski, and Novi Sad with Andrija. The monastery was beautiful. The town of Sremski Karlovsky is definitely worth a stop. It has interesting history and incredible local artists and wine shops. Novi Sad has a beautiful, historic downtown and cool fortress. This day trip would be a highlight for anyone visiting Serbia. Any tour you book with Serbian Private tours will be a great time. I will book with them again next time I am in Serbia.
