Begin met een schilderachtige 1,5 uur durende rit naar de legendarische Cu Chi Tunnels - een ongelooflijk ondergronds netwerk dat met de hand is gegraven door Vietnamese verzetsstrijders. De Cu Chi-tunnels zijn een netwerk van ondergrondse tunnels op 80 kilometer ten noordwesten van Ho Chi Minh-stad (Saigon). Ze zijn met de hand uitgehouwen en er wordt aangenomen dat ze zich helemaal uitstrekken tot het naburige Cambodja. De tunnels werden tijdens de oorlog in Vietnam gebruikt door Vietnamese soldaten en dienden als basis voor communistische aanvallen op nabijgelegen gebieden. The combination of Cu Chi and Hochimin was very logical. I really love the experience and knowledge in Cu chi. We also visited many famous places in Hochimin, but I liked the War Museum the most because it gave me insightful perspectives on the war. We were pleased with the guide because he taught us a lot about war and history!
