De huidige spoorbrug werd ingehuldigd op 24 juni 1992. Het werd geschreven door een Portugese ingenieur, Edgar Cardoso. De toren ernaast werd tijdens de bouw van de brug door dezelfde ingenieur gebouwd om de voortgang van de werkzaamheden te kunnen volgen.
Het is de brug ontworpen door Gustave Eiffel. Een van de mooiste bruggen tussen Porto en Gaia. Het was de eerste spoorbrug. Het werd ingehuldigd in 1877 en bleef in gebruik tot 1992. Het is momenteel volledig gesloten. Het is een meesterwerk van Eiffel.
Het is de nieuwste brug tussen Porto en Gaia. Wegbrug. De brug is vernoemd naar prins Hendrik de Navigator, een pionier van de ontdekkingsreizen in Portugal, die in Porto werd geboren. Vandaar dat de brug ter ere van hem naar hem is vernoemd.
De meest iconische en bekendste brug van Porto. Ontworpen door de Belgische ingenieur Theophilo Seirig, die een leerling van Eiffel was en met hem samenwerkte aan de Pont de la Maria. Tien jaar later ontwierp hij de Dom Luís I-brug. Samen met de wijk Ribeira in Porto en de Cais de Gaia vormt het een UNESCO-werelderfgoedlocatie. Het heeft twee niveaus: het bovenste niveau is voor de metro en voetgangers, en het onderste niveau is voor wegverkeer en voetgangers. Het is beroemd onder de kinderen uit Ribeira om vanaf het lager gelegen platform in de rivier te springen.
Ribeira do Porto: Het historische deel van de stad met zijn kleurrijke huizen, tunnels en middeleeuwse muren.
Het is een nationaal monument. Geschreven door de Portugese ingenieur Edgar Cardoso. Toen het in 1963 werd geopend, was het de enige in Europa, en misschien wel ter wereld, met een enkele hangende betonnen boog. Het verhaal gaat dat niemand geloofde dat de brug voltooid kon worden, omdat het gebied erg winderig en vochtig is. Daarom besloot de ingenieur een specifieke datum te bepalen voor het plaatsen van het centrale deel van de boog en zo de brug af te maken.
Het Cabedelo-estuarium is een gebied nabij de monding van de Douro-rivier waar trekvogels en diverse plantensoorten te vinden zijn.
De boulevard van Gaia, ofwel Ribeira de Gaia, staat op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO. Het is het historische gebied van Gaia, gelegen recht tegenover de Ribeira do Porto. Daar bevinden zich de portwijnkelders.

Susana & her husband Sergio really made it a perfect evening. Book them for a private cruise without any distractions. Perfect boat for both sun canopy cover in back or laying in comfort in front bow. They were nice enough to take us into the ocean - no other cruise will do this! They turned the boat around plenty so we could always get the best sunset pictures. And to top it all off plenty of wine and a fantastis charcuterie spread. Susana became a friend of the course of the ~2+ hours and we chatted far beyond just Porto. Can't recommend enough!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time on our Douro River boat tour with Susana and Sérgio! From the moment we stepped aboard, they made us feel welcome and comfortable. This experience was so wonderful!! We last minute wanted to book a sunset boat ride and couldn’t be happier we chose this. Meeting spot was easy and the boat was perfect. We learned a bit about the city as we embarked and sipped wine/ snacked but then were given time to sit on the front and just enjoy!! A perfect combo of learning and relaxation. Absolutely perfect moment. Suzanna takes great care of us throughout the trip and tells us the history of the bridges. Sergio is a very experienced pilot and makes the trip very relaxing even when the water is choppy! I highly recommend this experience!
