Verken het in de World Heritage-lijst opgenomen Daintree Rainforest tijdens deze privétour van 12 uur vanuit Cairns. Als je in een privéklimmer met een natuurgids reist, bezoek je het Daintree National Park en zijn natuurlijke attracties zoals Mossman Gorge en Cape Tribulation. Ontdek de weelderige landschappen van wat waarschijnlijk het oudste tropische regenwoud op aarde is, bekijk de stad Port Douglas, maak een veerboot over de Daintree River en nog veel meer.

Na een pick-up van uw accommodatie, beginnen we onze reis.
Deze iconische uitkijk biedt een spectaculair 360 graden uitzicht op Four Mile Beach, de Koraalzee en het Daintree Rainforest.
Mossman Gorge, gelegen aan de zuidelijke rand van Daintree National Park, onderdeel van de Wet Tropics of Queensland, UNESCO-werelderfgoed. Geniet van de ochtendthee in het Mossman Gorge Centre. Spring dan aan boord van een shuttlebus onder begeleiding van je natuurgids en ga het nationale park in voor een begeleide wandeling in het dichte tropische regenwoud. Bewonder het uitzicht over de granieten rotsblokken en het heldere water van de rivier de Mossman, en als de tijd en het weer het toelaten, kunt u een duik nemen.
Ga verder naar het noorden door suikerrietvelden om te genieten van een lunch in het restaurant met lokale producten in een ontspannen regenwoudomgeving.
Ga na de lunch mee met een begeleide 1 uur durende wildlife cruise op de Daintree River. Houd je ogen open voor krokodillen en andere lokale wilde dieren!
Kort daarna bij de Daintree River en stap aan boord van de kabelveerboot om deze machtige rivier over te steken
Alexandra Lookout biedt een panoramisch uitzicht over de Daintree-delta, de rivier en de Koraalzee.
Cape Tribulation is waar het regenwoud het rif ontmoet en je kunt het allemaal in je opnemen vanaf de Kulki Lookout. Dit is het meest noordelijke punt van ons dagtouravontuur, dus vanaf hier beginnen we aan de reis naar huis
Onderweg stoppen bij een van de Daintree Ice Cream Shops voor afternoon tea. Hier heeft u de mogelijkheid om lokaal gemaakt ijs met seizoensfruit van de tropen te proeven (op eigen kosten).
Voor degenen die worden opgehaald in Cairns en de stranden, begint de dag met een reis langs de schilderachtige Great Barrier Reef Drive naar Port Douglas. De weg loopt langs de berghelling en we stoppen bij Rex Lookout om te genieten van een prachtig uitzicht op de Koraalzee. Vanaf hier varen we naar Port Douglas, halen eventuele extra gasten op en stoppen bij Flagstaff Hill, dat uitkijkt op 4 Mile Beach.
De tour eindigt en we zetten u af bij uw accommodatie.

Great guide. Comfortable vehicle. Our guide, Carsten K, was great. Knowledgeable, informative, flexible, always ensuring we were comfortable and enjoying the experience. A safe driver and prompt. Highly recommend him to others. The crocodile boat tour, the walking and views at Cape Tribulation, and the Mossman gorge hike were fantastic, even though it was rainy. It was a long drive but worth it.
This tour was absolutely the best tour we have done while in Australia. Our tour guide (Scott) was so knowledgeable, and when we finished we had learned so much about the plant and animal life in the rainforest.

A very full day of adventuring throughout FNQ. The Mercedes bus was extremely comfortable, and our guide, Michelle, was knowledgeable and funny. The lunch was lovely, and our many stops were well planned. Definitely well worth the money! We would highly recommend to anyone who wants a great overview of crocs, indigenous lore, beaches and rainforests. Photos and memories to keep with us for a long time!

Great day to discover the wonders of one of the oldest forests in the world. Very intense (almost 12 h) but very comfortable since we were the 5 members of my family in a private van. Our guide, Steve, excellent. Didactic, very friendly and made us visit some unforeseen points that surprised us. Fully recommended.

Simon was brillant. He has an Incredible breath of knowledge of Daintree Rainforest and all things Australian. His disposition is upbeat and fun. His love of nature is palpable. He is genuine and considerate. We (a couple w 2 teenage kids) spent 12 hours with him and never a dull moment passed. Cheers to being great at your job and sharing what you love to do with others.

A relaxing day, with a great guide (Mario was the best) - swimming at Mossman Gorge was fantastic, we saw crocs on the cruise, delicious lunch, even a family of cassowaries on the way to cape Tribulation.
