De geboorteplaats van de zeer dappere koningin uit onze Indiase geschiedenis. Ze staat bekend als Rani Laxmibai, de koningin van Jhansi.
We bezoeken de zeer beroemde Akhada, een soort typische sportschool voor Indiase worstelaars.
Deze historische trappenhuis is het symbool van de vruchtbaarheid; eens per jaar is er een badfestival voor vrouwen die geen baby kunnen krijgen.
We zullen de historische Assi Ghat zien, die ook het pelgrimsoord voor hindoes is. zal hier wat tijd doorbrengen, zodat u op een aantal prachtige foto's kunt klikken. Maar 's avonds heeft het een totaal andere sfeer. een van de meest relaxte plekken van Varanasi.
Loopt vanaf Assi Ghat en bereikt in ongeveer 20 minuten de crematie-ghat van Varanasi, die bekend staat als Harishchandra Ghat.
Deze plek zal ons het leven, de cultuur en de architectuur van Zuid-India laten zien.
Nog 20 minuten lopen van Harishchandra ghat. Deze plaats is het centrum van alle ghats van Varanasi, omdat elke pelgrim of toerist hier als eerste komt om de levendigheid van Varanasi te voelen. 's Morgens en' s avonds zijn er verschillende sfeertjes. Hier wordt elke avond Ganga Aarti gehouden. waar u tegen extra kosten van kunt genieten.

I didn't actually make it to the tour. My plane was delayed three times so I arrived too late to participate. However the host was beyond accommodating to all my delays and worked closely with me to ensure I would be able to participate if possible. The level of care and communication I received was exceptional. As a solo female traveler its important to feel confident in tour companies and I completely did. Sad I didn't make the tour but if I return I'd have no doubts booking with them again and I highly recommend them

It was wonderful to be accompanied by Amit! Thanks to him we were able to reach corners, celebrations and rituals that newcomers to Varanassi would have been difficult to find. Had an amazing time touring India and I owe it all to Amit Srivastava of Dhyanam India tours. India is wonderful, our 14-day adventure was amazing and much of it we owe to our guide Amit Srivastava who showed human and professional warmth of ten. The itineraries, spectacular and taught us many things that only one local knows. He speaks perfect English and Spanish, adapted to our needs on the go and the whole group was delighted with him. If I return to India again Amit will be the guide I will choose again.
