'S Werelds 5e grootste kathedraal waar Paul Mccartney in 1953 zijn auditie voor het kathedraalkoor mislukte.
Loop rond in de beroemde schuilkelder Penny Lane, die in het nummer te horen is en in het hart van deze iconische locatie in Liverpool. Zie de bank op de hoek van het nummer, een belangrijke mijlpaal die de tekst van Penny Lane heeft geïnspireerd. Passeer de kapperszaak die beroemd is geworden in het nummer, nog steeds een herkenbaar onderdeel van het Penny Lane verhaal vandaag. Stop voor foto's met het John Lennon-beeld, een eerbetoon aan een van Liverpools beroemdste zonen. St Barnabas Church, te zien in de Carpool Karaoke met Paul McCartney en een belangrijk deel van de lokale gemeenschap.
Maak foto's buiten Ringo Starr jeugdhuizen en de prachtige Ringo muurschildering. Dit is ook de locatie van Powis Street gebruikt in Peaky Blinders
Maak foto's bij het Eleanor Rigby Grave en bekijk de kerkzaal waar John en Paul elkaar voor het eerst ontmoetten in 1957
Bezoek het nieuwe bezoekerscentrum en loop door de tuinen en uw Gids maakt foto's voor u en uw gezin op de fanfare met de mozaïek Imagine tegelvloer. Gebruik de toiletten en het café en maak tot slot selfies bij de beroemde Strawberry Field gates. Er is hier ook een souvenirwinkel.

Booked the Private Beatles Car Tour, Penny Lane, Strawberry Field & childhood homes in Liverpool. The experience was informative, and our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Highlights included where Paul and John first met]. The pacing was just right. I only have one complaint, but it is notable, they show a Mercedes van as the image, but what showed up was a 4 seat taxi cab, with 2 very uncomfortable seats facing backwards, we took turns seating in the awful jump seats, but wow not good. Overall, we enjoyed the tour. Saluti

This tour was fantastic! Our guide, Brian, was wonderful. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind. Our tour could not have been better. Our tour guide/ driver was Joey. He drove a taxi. We thoroughly enjoyed his comments and stories and felt like he gave us a good overview of the Beatles more personal lives. The downfalls were the car really only had good seating for three. There were four of us so one person had to sit on a small platform seat not meant for sitting on for a long period of time. Second problem, because it was a taxi there was a plexi glass partition between us so we had to strain to hear him speak.
We are pleased you enjoyed your time with Joey who is an excellent Beatles Guide. Joey usually has a licensed Mercedes licensed for 6 passengers and there is no bench seat in that. If a car is off the road for a service etc then he might have been using a courtesy vehicle but it’s still licensed for at least 5 passengers. Did you speak to Joey about this during the tour? If he was aware you weren’t comfortable then we’d expect him to call us and we’d arrange another car later that day. Or did you just let the tour proceed then write the review as I need to understand what’s happened? Thanks Neil
