Begin uw bezoek aan Wenen op de meest ontspannen en plezierige manier. Deze privé avondwandeling is ontworpen als een zachte oriëntatie voor reizigers die halverwege de dag of in de middag aankomen. In plaats van je te haasten met sightseeing, ontmoet je je Expert Oostenrijk Gids voor de deur (hotel of vakantiehuis) en geniet je van een rustige, sfeervolle introductie tot de stad. Omdat dit een privétour is, past de route zich aan uw energie, interesses en het licht van het seizoen aan. U kunt de Stephansdom (St. Stephen's Cathedral) verkennen, door de elegante straten rond Kohlmarkt en Graben wandelen of genieten van de avondstemming rond Rathausplatz (Stadhuisplein) en het keizerlijk paleis Hofburg. De wandeling eindigt bij een restaurant, café of bar naar keuze — de perfecte overgang naar uw eerste nacht in Wenen. Afhankelijk van uw tempo duurt de tour meestal 1,5 tot 2,5 uur.

We ontmoeten al onze gasten in hun accommodatie (vakantiewoningen, hotels) binnen stadsgrenzen. We gebruiken openbaar vervoer wanneer dat nuttig is. Omdat dit een verkorte introductietour is, kan het nuttig zijn om een ontmoetingspunt te regelen zoals voor "Café Aida" op Stephansplatz (Singerstrasse 1, Wenen 1010)

I highly recommend this fun tour with Walter! It was a great way to see the highlights of Vienna in just 4 hours! Walter was so funny and extremely knowledgeable about Austrian history! A huge bonus was the perfect photo shots and escaping the tourist crowds! He tailored our tour just for us and made us fall in love with this sophisticated, clean, beautiful city!

This was the highlight of our European vacation! Our guide meet us in the lobby of our hotel at 5:30pm and proceeded to show us all the sights of Vienna in 2.5 hours. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. It was amazing as it was just the 4 of us with our guide! We saw The Franciscan Church (also known as the Church of St. Jerome), Mozart’s Apartment Building (from 1784-1787), St. Stephen’s Cathedral, The Plague Column, St. Peter’s church, Freyung Square, Church of the Minoritenkirche (Italian), The Minoritenplatz, the COVID-19 memorial, the 13th century Hofburg Palace (where many important actions and events took place here, most notably Adolf Hitler's ceremonial announcement of the Austrian Anschluss to Nazi Germany on 15 March 1938), Joseph’s Square, the Vienna Opera House & Heldenplatz (Heroes' Square) and many others. At the end of the tour our guide walked us to a great local restaurant and left us for the evening. Would recommend 110% - fantastic!

We meet our guests at their doorstep and therefore our routs vary – and the possible content depends on our guests’ mobility and interest. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk through Vienna in the evening. Walter tailored the walk to include some sites in the area where we were staying. He knew the history of sites and had a great sense of humor. Walter also provided us with ideas for where to visit on the following day on our own.
<p>Walter our guide was so knowledgable with perfect English, waiting for us on time iat our hotel. Helistened to what we were interested in and then adapted our tour to our interests, I would thoroughly recommend a private tour if you are short on time to give you an insight of Austrian history.</p>
