Our family had a great introduction to Oahu when we took a private circle island tour with Aloha Sunshine Tours on our first full day in Hawaii. Our excellent guide was Darcy, "the guy with a girl's name," who picked the eight of us up at our hotel on time in a nice vehicle and drove us wherever we wanted to go. He is a native of the Big Island but has been in Oahu many times and really knows his way around. Darcy is a wealth of information and told us about many topics, including geography, history, flora and fauna, legends, sports, and the many sights we were seeing. Darcy has a good sense of humor and has led a very interesting, adventurous life and even shared some of that. At our request to have lunch at one of the many shrimp trucks he recommended Shrimp the Bomb and called ahead so our delicious food was waiting for us when we got there. To show Darcy's going the extra mile (literally), when we went to Waimea Falls he didn't wait in the vehicle as most guides would do but rather he walked all the way to the Falls with us to be sure everything went well. We certainly appreciated not only his willingness to customize our tour but his personal yet professional approach. I don't know if Darcy is a regular guide for Aloha Sunshine Tours, but their representative Ireka was easy to work with and I recommend them, especially if you can get Darcy as your guide.

First time in Hawaii and my first tour of the vacation. This tour was a blast and am thrilled to have learned so much of the island and its unique history. Leena was an amazing tour guide. Made it welcoming and fun! The tour provided us with water and snorkeling gear which was a huge bonus. Overall it was a pleasant experience and Leena made it feel like one big ohana!!!

Aloha Sunshine is a wonderful tour company. They were easy to work with while setting up our all-day tour on Oahu. Our driver, Brian was absolutely amazing! He showed us a few local spots, several tourist areas, and beautiful beaches. We took beautiful pictures and saw so much of the island! Brian customized the tour to our interests and was a wonderful tour guide! We were picked up right from our cruise ship and dropped off at the airport. We could not recommend this tour more!
