De berg Profitis Ilias (Profeet Elia) is de hoogste plek van het eiland (567 meter) en ligt tussen Pyrgos en Kamari. De naam van de berg, afkomstig van het klooster met dezelfde naam op de top. Vanaf dit uitkijkpunt heb je een prachtig uitzicht over het hele eiland, van de lappendeken van landbouwvlakten tot het heuveldorp Oia.
Hierna ontmoeten we Akrotiri Red Beach, dat misschien wel een van de beroemdste en mooiste stranden van Santorini is. Het ligt op slechts een steenworp afstand van de oude site van Akrotiri. De kleine omvang van het strand zorgt voor een drukke atmosfeer en er zijn veel dagen waarop de meeste bezoekers ervoor kiezen om niet helemaal naar het strand te komen en in plaats daarvan dit unieke landschap van rode en zwarte vulkanische rotsen vanaf de landtong te bewonderen.
Volgende stop in Black Beach dat zich onderscheidt door zijn sprankelende azuurblauwe wateren en rustige sfeer. Aan het strand zijn er tal van tavernes, pubs en restaurants waar verse vis en lokale lekkernijen worden geserveerd. We zullen daar 1 1/2 uur stoppen om te ontspannen, zwemmen en om te eten.
We zullen het dorp Imerovigli ontmoeten. Daar zullen we Skaros zien, een grote rots, het overblijfsel van het belangrijkste kasteel. we krijgen de gelegenheid om rond te lopen en het dorp te verkennen en adembenemende foto's te maken.
Daarna gaan we naar het dorp Oia. De natuurlijke schoonheid van het dorp Oia in combinatie met de traditionele architectuur die bestaat uit witgekalkte huizen, oude herenhuizen waar kapiteins vroeger woonden, smalle straatjes en kerken met blauwe koepels, maken dit dorp uniek en dus enorm populair bij de bezoekers. Foto's en ansichtkaarten met de zonsondergang van Oia, het uitzicht op de caldera en de kerken met de blauwe koepels zijn de hele wereld over gereisd om reclame te maken voor de onvergelijkbare schoonheid van het dorp en ervoor te zorgen dat nog meer mensen het willen bezoeken!
Laatste stop, in Fira, de hoofdstad van Santorini, om te winkelen en foto's van de caldera te maken. This was a great tour. Our driver, Kostas, was excellent and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this.
Santorini was so beautiful! Our tour guide took us to all of the spots we wanted to see and some we didn’t know about! He was very knowledgeable and we’d highly recommend this tour!
We (3 retirees) flew in from Athens for the day. We were in Greece for a wedding and felt we had to see Santorini and we were so glad that we did! We were picked up at the airport as scheduled by Panagiotis, who was very pleasant, friendly, and knowledgeable. He took us directly to Oia early enough to avoid the crowds from the cruise ships. He knew the best places for great photos, and along our walks and drives with him, shared info about the history of the island and all its beautiful views. You could tell he loves the island and his job. We went from one end of the island to the other, stopping at Fira, Imerovigli, the Red beach, Black beach, Akrotiri, and the monastery on the highest point of the island. Along the way, he brought us for lunch overlooking the Black beach. The food was delicious, outdoor dining and the staff was excellent there. We traveled at a moderate pace, never felt rushed. He took us everywhere we wanted to go, avoiding the crowds. His driving skills were really put to the test on some of the mountain roads, but he maneuvered the van like a pro. We felt that the best things about Santorini were the amazing views and beautiful scenery and Panagiotis, who gave us the most perfect day of our stay in Greece. We felt the cost of that flight and tour of Santorini was money well spent. Thanks again to Panagiotis for making us feel welcome and giving us a wonderful tour of his beautiful island home.
It was a nice experience. Going around the island to all the different place. The driver is nice and friendly and take us to a good seaside restaurant for seafood lunch.
Wonderful full day tour! Our guide and driver was very informative and pleasant. Be advised that if you choose to do the stairs they are killers! Once on top lots to see and do.
He was an excellent driver. However, he was not a local and certainly not a tour guide. He answered questions if we asked. I excepted a professional tour guide not a taxi driver.

Our guide navigated the crowded tourists area extremely well, nee the history, knows the hidden gems as well as catering to our interests.

Nikos was easy to communicate with via Whats App for pickups. He was friendly & helpful. We opted to spend a few hours in Oia, then an hour at black sand beach and then we had a reservation at Santo Wines. Be sure to make a reservation at Santo Wines for dinner. We had a reservation for 730pm and enjoyed the best view of a sunset ever over wine flights and dinner. Our servers were so fun and attentive. This was the highlight of our 11days in Italy & Greece!!! It is crazy coming into Santorini so we were thankful to have a private driver/guide for our party of 6.
Disappointing and unprofessional. After zero communication and me having to reach out to ask them where to meet and what the plan is, they canceled the private tour booking a week before the date. Why did you take my reservation if there's no availability that date? I just went back on the website and they're still listing that date as available, but I'm definitely looking elsewhere. Now I have to scramble to find a new activity for my family.
dear sir/madame,,, As I undertand you never did the tour. about the cancellation that you write i am sure that you are correct but unfortunately we have availability only for 4 tours per day and viator did for this day 5bookings that it is not suitable for us. after this problem we communicated with them to fix this problem from automatic reservation to manual so we will be the company that we will check availability and confirm about this. final, we cancelled the reservation 1week before not the last minute and ofcourse with full refund. thank you, Martha
