De reis begint in Colombo, de bruisende hoofdstad van Sri Lanka. Deze bruisende metropool combineert moderniteit naadloos met koloniaal erfgoed. Verken de indrukwekkende bezienswaardigheden van de stad, zoals het Onafhankelijkheidsplein, de boeddhistische tempel Gangaramaya en de iconische Galle Face Green. Op korte afstand van Colombo lonkt Sigiriya met zijn ontzagwekkende oude rotsfort. Sigiriya's Leeuwenrots rijst dramatisch op uit de vlakke vlakten en staat op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO en is een bewijs van de oude beschaving van Sri Lanka. Vervolg de reis terug in de tijd met een bezoek aan de oude stad Polonnaruwa, een andere UNESCO Werelderfgoedlocatie. De ruïnes van deze middeleeuwse stad laten de grandeur van Sri Lanka's verleden zien. De volgende op de route is Kandy, een stad gelegen te midden van weelderige heuvels en schilderachtige landschappen. Kandy heeft een diepe religieuze betekenis als de laatste hoofdstad van de oude koningen en het huis van de Tempel van de Heilige Tand Relikwie, een van de meest heilige heiligdommen van het boeddhisme.

We halen u op elke locatie in de zuidkust, Colombo City of Bandaranaike International Airport op. Reizigers dienen vooraf vluchtnummers en aankomsttijden door te geven om tijdig opgehaald te worden. De chauffeur / Gids wacht bij de aankomsthal van de luchthaven met een bord met uw naam. De ophaalservice omvat hulp bij bagage en begeleiding naar uw privévoertuig met airconditioning. Als uw vlucht vertraagd is, zal de Gids de ophaaltijd hierop aanpassen. Kinderzitjes zijn op aanvraag beschikbaar — laat het ons van tevoren weten als dat nodig is.
