Bekijk de topattracties van Cebu tijdens een privérondleiding van 5 uur door de oudste stad van de Filippijnen. Bezienswaardigheden zijn de Cebu-taoïstische tempel, de Basilica del Santo Nino, het Magellan's Cross, Fort San Pedro en Casa Gorordo, met commentaar van uw gids die de geschiedenis en cultuur van Cebu heeft verlicht. Ga naar Fort San Pedro, een militaire buitenpost gesticht in 1565 die nu een rustige tuin op de binnenplaats heeft.
Basilica del Santo Nino, met een gerespecteerd 16e-eeuws beeldje van het Christuskind (Santo Niño). Aan de overkant van de straat zie je het kruis van Magellan, dat door Portugese en Spaanse ontdekkingsreizigers werd geïnstalleerd op bevel van Ferdinand Magellan bij aankomst in Cebu in 1521.
Je laatste stop is Casa Gorordo Museum, gevestigd in een privéwoning gebouwd in de jaren 1850 voor een rijke familie. Gemaakt met Mactan koraalsteen en puur Filippijns hardhout, is het mooie huis gerestaureerd en ingericht in antieke stijl.
Na het ophalen van de ochtend vanuit je Cebu-hotel, reis je in een privévoertuig ongeveer vier mijl (6 km) buiten het stadscentrum naar de Cebu Taoïstische tempel. Stap binnen in de Taoïstische tempel, die in de jaren 1970 door de Chinese gemeenschap van de stad werd gebouwd. Passeer de koolstofmarkt, waar de meeste verse producten van de stad worden verkocht.

Tour guide Lloyd was great. He was very knowledgeable. We saw lots of interesting sites for a short 5 hour tour. He also took great pictures. Car was not great, driver kept air conditioning off when we left and it took a while for car to cool down when we returned to car. Very warm day in Cebu during our tour.
I injured myself in the gym on the day before my booking. I contacted the tour provider to reschedule due to pain. They didn’t reply and turned up anyway. I explained again that I was injured and wanted to reschedule. Sent two more messages and got no response. Complained to trip advisor requesting that I didn’t want a refund, but just to reschedule. They quoted “sorry, it’s inside of 24 hours”. Poor form since I paid a premium for this private tour that could easily have been rescheduled. I can see it’s available all week so it’s not as though people are lining up for private tours at the moment outside of high season. I would have been happy to pay a penalty fee, or just had one single response from the tour operator to address my issue instead of hiding behind Trip Advisor.

We had 2 private tours from Cebu, one to the Oslob whale sharks with Tyler and Ian and a half day city tour with Ramon. Both were wonderful and the tour guides and driver were outstanding. Highly recommend a guide as they will protect you and translate as required. We saw numerous historic sites and were even able to request vegetarian food (as our tummies were a little fragile). These tours were a definite highlight of our Philippines experience, made all the better by the wonderful, caring staff.
The guide was very good..The way he told the history of the phillipines was really interesting. Also good lunch.
<p>It has been a real disappointment and even an upsetting experience I had with my sons. Edwin, the “guide”, left us in front of each site and asked us to visit on our own. The rest of the time he slept in the car or remained silent, then rushed us to a very bad “buffet” at 11:00am. For 195US$!!!</p>
<p>Even this was a rainy day the tour guide and the driver give us an unforgettable half day experince on the places all worth to visit. We were impressed about the local guide's English skills and his knowledge about Cebu-history. Only the lunch-buffet was under expectations. Anyway we didn't make this tour for the lunch and 5 stars for the perfect city-tour, which should be done the first day after arrival.</p>
