Eerste stop bij het beroemde strand van Santorini. Het rode strand ligt in het zuidelijke deel van het eiland in het dorp Akrotiri. Je kunt er alleen te voet vanaf de berg heen, anders kun je een cruise bewonderen.
We passeren langs het witte strand met de unieke schoonheid gevormd onder hoge witte kliffen. Je kunt er alleen vanaf de zee naartoe omdat er geen pad is om te voet te gaan.
Black Beach of Mesa Pigadia, zoals de lokale bevolking het noemt, is een strand dat omgeven is door grote zwarte rotsen. We stoppen hier om te zwemmen en te BBQ aan boord. Na de BBQ passeren we de Black Mountain waar we ook de historische vuurtoren kunnen zien en varen we naar het calderagebied.
De volgende stop is bij de warmwaterbronnen van Volcano, omringd door warm, donker water dat bekend staat om hun therapeutische voordelen.
We zeilen in de buurt van het eiland Thirassia om te zwemmen. Het eiland Thirassia ligt in de nabijheid van Santorini en maakte er zelfs ooit deel van uit. De vulkaanuitbarsting die plaatsvond rond 1500 v.Chr. brak Santorini in vele stukken en Thirassia kwam naar voren als een van die. Thirassia is tegenwoordig een maagdelijk eiland, nog onaangetast door toerisme en moderne levensstijl.

We went on the semi private catamaran cruise. Ended up only having 2 others, so total of 4. Our hostess was fantastic. Educated us on sights as we passed them by. We swam in the hot springs and snorkeled at the black beach. The food she prepared for us was great, and the local beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) were great. A must do while in Santorini!
A good day spent out on the water with family and friends. The captain was not particularly friendly, but his skipper was ok. Lots of rules to follow but safety comes first. Food was pretty good. Overall a great day out.
Our tour was amazing! Everything was well organized and our captain Babis and guide Edi took good care of us! Highly recommended and very good value for money. The food was also really good and we always had something to drink
We had the most amazing time on our private sunset boat tour. Edi our host was incredible, he taught us so much about the history of the island and was so knowledgable! He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and even got us extra pudding for us. The food was lovely and our captain Babis was brilliant too! Thank you so much :)
My husband and I hosted our family’s first trip to Santorini (married daughter & husband both 25, son 23 and daughter 19) and this private sunset catamaran cruise was perfect!! Captain George did a great job with the boat and cooking our authentic Greek dinner. And Elena helpfully shared information about Santorini and told us about different stops we made. We enjoyed three great swims, a wonderful meal, beautiful sunset boat ride, and priceless family time. My favorite part was that everything exceeded my expectations! Just perfect!
This was our first excursion on our Mediterranean cruise. We had to book a private excursion due to the timing. Our captain and helper were amazing and went out of their way to make sure we got the perfect pictures and made usa a wonderful authentic Greek Dinner. It was a favorite outing for us and I would highly recommend. The communication with the tour operator was also great and I really appreciated that as we had many moving parts with coming from a cruise ship.
Excellent staff. Demetrius and Erika were perfect hosts. Good way to celebrate a mile stone birthday.
