Onze gids neemt je mee naar de Place de Saint Germain des Prés waar je deze kerk uit de 6e eeuw kunt bewonderen
Vervolgens bezichtigen we de Place du Théâtre de l'Odéon
De volgende stop is Place du Panthéon, nadat u langs de Luxembourg Gardens bent gepasseerd
We passeren dan een van de beroemdste culturele plekken in de stad, de Sorbonne Universiteit.
Dompel jezelf onder in de overblijfselen uit de middeleeuwen en loop door de Lutèce-arena's en het Quartier Latin
Je bezoekt dan een van de oudste wijken van Parijs
We verlaten dan de linkeroever en komen aan op het eiland van de stad voor de Notre Dame-kathedraal. Een fotopauze is gepland op Place Saint Michel met een adembenemend uitzicht op de kathedraal.
Je passeert dan de grote Place de la Concorde, waar ten tijde van de revolutie de guillotine stond.
Ga dan de mooiste laan ter wereld op
Bewonder dan dit prachtige monument dat de grootsheid van Frankrijk tijdens het Napoleontische tijdperk symboliseert. Er is een fotopauze gepland.
Je maakt dan de essentiële foto van de Eiffeltoren vanaf de Place du Trocadéro
Je krijgt dan de gelegenheid om een foto te maken van de prachtige vergulde bronzen koepel van de invaliden, die dienst doet als het graf van Napoleon.
De mooiste brug van Parijs, vernoemd naar een Russische tsaar, symboliseert de vriendschap tussen onze twee landen
De laatste plaats van dit bezoek en niet de minste is het Bourbonpaleis, de thuisbasis van de Nationale Vergadering
Ooit een koninklijk paleis, is het Louvre nu het grootste museum ter wereld. Bezoekers kunnen meesterwerken zoals de Mona Lisa, de Venus van Milo en de Gevleugelde Overwinning van Samothrace bewonderen onder de iconische glazen piramide.
Place Vendôme is een van de elegantste pleinen van Parijs, beroemd om de zuil van Napoleon en prestigieuze juweliers zoals Cartier en Chaumet. Het belichaamt Franse luxe en verfijning.
Het Palais Garnier, geopend in 1875, is een meesterwerk van 19e-eeuwse architectuur. Met zijn indrukwekkende marmeren trap, gouden details en door Chagall beschilderde plafond is dit een van de mooiste operagebouwen ter wereld.
De Comédie-Française werd opgericht in 1680 en is het oudste nog actieve theatergezelschap ter wereld. Het ligt vlak bij het Palais Royal en staat bekend als het "Huis van Molière", ter ere van de beroemde toneelschrijver.
De Jardin du Luxembourg, in de 17e eeuw aangelegd voor koningin Marie de Medici, is een van de mooiste parken in Parijs. U vindt er het Palais du Luxembourg, elegante fonteinen, sculpturen en een vredige sfeer in het hart van de stad.
De Observatoriumtuin, gelegen tussen de Jardin du Luxembourg en het Observatorium van Parijs, werd in de 17e eeuw aangelegd. Het staat bekend om zijn fontein ‘Vier Delen van de Wereld’ en zijn met bomen omzoomde paden.

This experience was great. After an evening arrival in Paris I was looking for something that would give us a feel for the city. This tour and our guide Hugo definitely delivered. Hugo recognized that our hotel was close to the pick up spot so he picked us up from there. He definitely catered the tour to the things we wanted to see and made stops at places like Notre Dame and Arch de Triumph for us to get out and see the sights. At the end of the tour we asked for a recommendation for a good place for a late dinner and he made sure we were dropped off there and knew our way back to our hotel. We definitely would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a way to see the big stuff in Paris. The vehicles were great and the cold bottled water on a hot evening were an added bonus.

We booked this tour very last minute after arriving that morning by train. Our group of three had a very enjoyable time and saw all of the sights Paris had to offer. The Moke was definitely a fun way to get around the city. It was a tad difficult for the two in the backseat to hear the driver discuss the sights while we were driving through the city's busy streets, but he did his absolute best. I would take this tour again.
