Je reist dan naar een van de vele vredesmuren die twee gemeenschappen scheidt die al meer dan 50 jaar bestaan luister naar hoe en wanneer en wie de muur bouwde, helaas nog steeds nodig vandaag
Onze tour eindigt opnieuw op de Falls Road Belfast, we zullen de geschiedenis induiken, we zijn de mensen die een Ierse traditie en cultuur leven en ademen in tegenstelling tot wat je op de Shankill hebt gezien, je zult muurschilderingen zien van republikeinen die ook zijn gestorven tijdens de conflict twee zeer vergelijkbare gebieden twee verschillende gemeenschappen maar in wezen dezelfde arbeidersklasse gebieden met verschillende culturen ook leunen op vredesprocessen staakt-het-vuren en gemeenschappen die verschillen proberen te verzoenen

I highly recommend this black cab tour. You get to visit several key murals and the peace wall, but more importantly, you hear from John who shares his personal experience of living in Belfast during “the Troubles”. I was deeply moved by this tour and John’s knowledge and kindness. Hearing the history from someone who was here for it is imperative. If you visit Belfast, take this tour.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience on our Black Cab Tour in Belfast. Our driver and guide John was an incredible man — so knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the history of the city. He explained everything in such a clear and engaging way, bringing Belfast’s past and present to life as we travelled through the different areas. What a great tour we went with an open mind having heard about the troubles in the 60/70s as kids from the news on a UK telly. Our guide John was both honest and balanced he was very knowledgeable about the history of Ireland and gave us an in-depth explanation of both areas and answered our questions without prejudice. His personal account was fascinating and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour we would highly recommend it and when you have the famous Irish humour thrown in a great way to spend an afternoon.

Completed our tour yesterday with Jackie who was absolutely fabulous. He was so informative and passionate about the history in Belfast. Jackie was able to talour the tour to things we had an interest in whilst providing such knowledge. Would 100% recommend and would do again.
