Dit is een zeer complete rondreis: uitzichten, geschiedenis, dieren in het wild en cultuur. Naast de nieuwsgierigheid om een stukje Verenigd Koninkrijk op het Iberisch schiereiland te bezoeken: de Rots van Gibraltar, de grote, begeerde rots in de gelijknamige zeestraat. Een privé-excursie en bezoek vanuit Sevilla aan een van de meest historische, strategische, bijzondere en leuke plekken in het Middellandse Zeegebied. Beginnend met de Rotstour: een tour met een privévoertuig (zodat we plekken kunnen bereiken waar bussen niet komen) met een lokale gids langs de belangrijkste plekken op de rots en met de mooiste panoramische uitzichten, waarbij u Afrika en Europa van dichtbij kunt zien en de apen van Gibraltar kunt bewonderen. Bezoek de Sint-Michielsgrot, de Skywalk, de Zuilen van Hercules en de tunnels uit het Grote Beleg. We stoppen in het historische centrum voor de lunch en een wandeling over de levendige hoofdstraat. We sluiten de dag af met een wandeling over de lokale landingsbaan van het vliegveld, een van de meest bijzondere ter wereld. Een geldig (gestempeld) paspoort is vereist.

We vertrekken naar Gibraltar vanaf het eerder opgegeven ontmoetingspunt.
We beginnen de Rock Tour zodra we Gibraltar binnenkomen, om te genieten van de meest interessante punten van de rots.
Stop bij dit spectaculaire uitkijkpunt om het uitzicht op Afrika, Europa, de Middellandse Zee en de Atlantische Oceaan te aanschouwen.
We bezoeken deze spectaculaire grot in de rots, waar we meer te weten komen over enkele legendes van de plek en genieten van een licht- en geluidsshow: de Awakening.
Een iconisch glazen uitkijkpunt in het hoogste deel van de rots, waar je de beroemde Gibraltar-apen kunt observeren en fotograferen.
Tunnels met de hand gegraven door Britse soldaten tijdens de Grote Spaanse Belegering.

*Alleen in de uitgebreide versie van de tour* Afhankelijk van de beschikbare tijd, kunnen we ook een stop maken bij deze batterij, een van de hoogstgelegen op de rots.
Na het bezoek zullen we opnieuw de grens met Spanje oversteken en terugkeren naar Sevilla.
Na de Rock kunnen we vrij genieten (niet inbegrepen) van een typische lunch of winkelen in de winkels aan Main Street.

We highly recommend Alex & Mufstafa as tour guides for the day-trip to Gibraltar to Seville. Although the weather was a little chilly at this time of year, we had a wonderful experience.

We were 6 in total for this private tour. I do suggest the driver have some type of audio put into the van--We were unable to hear him in the back. It was a Rough Ride. Don't know if it was the shocks on the vehicle or the road, but believe it was a combination. This tour is essentially a transfer into Gibraltar -Then you are handed off to a British Driver to tour the Rock. Our Spanish Driver/guide accompanied us on the Gibraltar tour. My associates were confused with who to follow. While our Spanish Transfer Driver/Guide meant well, he distracted our group from the tour , with feeding the Monkeys. Which our British Guide warned us not to do. We missed much of our exploring the tunnels, due to our Spanish Driver feeding the Monkeys. I would not recommend this transfer/tour if you want to explore Gibraltar. Do it on your own.
We are very sorry that you did not enjoy the experience. This is the first time this has happened to us in almost eight years. However, the tour was conducted exactly as described. Furthermore, your clients did not seem to have had such a bad time. They even tipped the guide, which is a good indication of their satisfaction. What an amazing experience, most importantly with Ricci, our guide, who was without the doubt the best guide we’ve had! Gregarious, friendly, helpful, with information that was interesting and not overbearing. Knew when to let us explore on our own, and guided by him. We chatted all the way there and back on all things. He truly sees his mission as making the visitors see his country (and Gibraltar) in the best, honest, and open way. No question was left unanswered. A person with a degree in environmental Biology, he was conversant on the climates and micro climates, animals and insects. We also had Mustafa, the whisperer to the monkeys. We had the best driving, information, patience and monkey pictures. He brought their favorite foods, and we got the best pictures with each of my teens and parents, with the monkeys happily perched on our shoulders. Oh so much fun! The clouds parted to allow a glimpse of Africa, we had the best fish and chips (we know England well, and these were legit), and a day that allowed us all to enjoy the very new and comfortable Mercedes van rides as well. What a great day we would happily repeat if we come back to this area! Thank you Ricci…you need to start the tour of your home town, the distillery and the bakery! Gracias!!!!

Great side trip from Seville to Gibraltar. Really glad that we chose this private tour to Gibraltar. Our guides Dris and Mustafa were very knowledgeable and focused on giving us the best possible tour. Very comprehensive coverage of the island, batteries, best fish and chips restaurants for lunch, monkeys, the caves and lighthouse. Mustafa answered all of our history questions about the island, monkeys and military locations. He also took us up to top and Ohara battery where we see Africa Spain and the straights of Gibraltar. Adjusted the tour to accommodate our interests. Very prompt and friendly. Glad we decided to take this tour!
