We zetten ons in om het bewustzijn te vergroten over natuurbehoud en ethisch olifantentoerisme, een belangrijk onderdeel van onze olifantenzorgfilosofie. Sinds 2017 zetten we ons in voor het werken met olifanten als gids in onze olifantenzorgfaciliteit. Deze reis heeft ons van onschatbare ervaring en kennis voorzien over deze prachtige wezens. Onze missie bij Chiangmai Elephant Care is om een betere toekomst voor olifanten te creëren en hun geluk te verzekeren. Bij Chiangmai Elephant Care hebben we uit eerste hand de uitdagingen gezien waarmee olifanten worden geconfronteerd, zoals habitatverlies, stroperij en menselijke conflicten. Ons werk in olifantenzorg heeft ons geleerd hoe we hun welzijn kunnen verbeteren. Met onze ervaring bij Chiangmai Elephant Care begrijpen we de fysieke, emotionele en sociale behoeften van olifanten. Door hun gedrag en instincten te bestuderen, creëren we omgevingen waar ze kunnen gedijen. We zijn gepassioneerd over het verbeteren van hun leven door olifantenzorg, omdat we geloven dat ze vreugde, comfort en vrijheid verdienen.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
We halen u op in de lobby van uw hotel. Zoals we doen mee tour dus het zou kunnen zijn 2 - 3 hotels op te halen. Tussen 8 - 8 uur: 30 uur. Voor 's morgens ophalen. en 12 - 12:30 uur. voor 's middags ophalen. Wees alsjeblieft klaar op het tijdstip dat we hebben genoemd. Hartelijk dank.

There are 4 elephants here and all are obviously well treated by the humans here. Our guide/explainer is named Ford. He was happy to share with us. No riding of the elephants or bathing is allowed. Just feeding and viewing. This was a positive experience. I hope you book this experience.

Wonderful half day. From the time of pickup until the end, everything was great. The elephant caretakers are obviously very concerned with the well being of the animals. We were able to help feed and pet the elephants while learning about and just enjoying being with them. We had several hours, so didn’t feel rushed. A very good lunch was served just before heading back to Chiang Mai. Vests were provided to put on over your shirt. Rubber boots were available to borrow as well. This small group tour was a great choice. Definitely would recommend!

Been to other Elephant experiences and this is by far the best I have experienced! The animals are very well cared for. The workers are friendly and attentive. The Pad Thai and fresh fruit were the icing on the cake. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience. My guide, Ford, was excellent. And I was very impressed with this particular sanctuary's genuine concern for the elephant well-being. There was a very strict cap on the number of visitors per day so as not to stress the elephants. And I could tell that they were all very happy. Particularly the cute little elephant named Lucky! I was allowed to spend as much time as I wanted observing the elephants. And I interacted with them several times during feeding. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We visited Chiang Mai Elephant Care and were able to touch the elephants and feed them. I was happy that they had plenty of space and only limited visitors and that they were not taken out of their normal routine. Their caregivers gave us lots of interesting information. Definitely a highlight of my visit to Thailand.
